Who is going? When?

We have an unplanned trip to DL from Sept 29th to Oct 2nd, staying at the Hilton Anaheim. We are also going to the MHP (providing that I can get tickets tomorrow if the main DL website co-operates with me) on Sept 30th. This is our 2nd trip to DL this year and the 2nd time we are fooling the kids. If they did trust me before, they won't after this trip:rotfl2::rotfl2:. We are going to pull them out of school for 2 days and not going to tell them until we are headed to the airport. This is their first time flying, so it's going to be interesting.

HEY BELLDOZER!! :wave2:

Want to meet a DISer that lives near DL??? :rolleyes1

That is great you are not telling anyone...:rotfl2: I can't seem to hold my excitment enough to surprise anyone...

I'll be having some serious withdrawal come October. This is the first time in about 10 years we won't be at WDW. :sad2: going to HHI this summer instead. I'll have to Disney vicariously through you all.

My DH and I will be celebrating our 25th on the Disney Magic from Feb. 4th - Feb 11th, 2012 with a single night in a hotel near the port on Feb 3rd.

:yay: You will love it, Jean.
We are hoping to do one Oct. 2012, but I haven't really gotten to looking too much yet.

Nancy, the Threadkillers et al are doing the Dream in Aug 2012. ;) Come join us! :thumbsup2

Sorry, Kim....planning on late Oct with WDW hooked on for MNSSHP and food and wine.

I bet you will have a blast.

Anyone going to IOA on their next WDW trip?

I know that I am just blanking...but...what is IOA?? :confused3

So, we are trying to decide where to go next year (2012) ...no firm dates as of yet, but most likely Summer..:scared1: or Christmas...:santa: It will be just Chris and I..because the family will be here this year with us at DL!! :woohoo: Only 2 months left till then...:worship: So much to plan, so much to get done...I AM HOSTING!!! (and a wee bit scared doing so...) pirate:

So, any opinons on these dates and places...???

1. Disney Magic (Celebrating Chris's Bday and seeing CANADA) Dates: June 10-15 most likely the best cruise for our dates, as of right now...we were also thinking of the Fantasy during Spring Break...

2. WDW in either June, Sept., or Dec. (Chris's Bday, Anniversary, or Christmas respectively) Sept. might be difficult because of school, but I MIGHT be able to go and talk to my professors..
--I want to stay in either AKL, BWV, or any other we could get...I know it gets quite busy..

I just do not know where our next vacation is going to be yet...I wish I did..:upsidedow I want to start PLANNING...:surfweb:

Hi Eva. You will do a great job hosting.

Alaska is great....but Disney doesn't do Glacier Bay and that was a MAJOR highlight for us. Went on HAL for that one. RCCL didn't go there either and it was so disappointing.

I think we are going on the Fantasy in Oct. 2012.

June wasn't too bad at WDW. It was hot and it did rain quite a bit the year we went, 2009.
Sept was hot too.
You can never beat Dec.!!

IOA=Islands of Adventure.....were the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is. ;)
We're going in Dec......and Jan.

ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE!!! Of Course! How in the WORLD could I forget that!! :sad2: :rotfl2: I LOVE Harry Potter! I definitely want to make it out there next time we are in Florida...:3dglasses

Thanks for all the GREAT opinons! Maybe after all is calm after summer Chris and I can get the plans in the work for the next vacation... :yay: I guess we are not good at Multi-planning...:surfweb: :confused3

Ok, so new issue I need help with.... :worship:

My Sisters-In-Law are coming in a WEEK early!!! :scared1: Most likely DH will be working...so...How do I entertain 2 TEENAGERS for a Week???? :confused3

beaches........shopping........other tourist things you might not be going to when everyone else is there.

Attention everybody: I got an email from Mousesavers saying that Disney ticket prices are going up Sunday....so if you need tickets, better buy them today or tomorrow!

yep....lots of talk about it over on the Theme Park board ::yes::

Glad I got my AP voucher a few weeks ago, so I am ready for Dec. :yay:

We got that message too....:sad2: Good thing we renewed a few weeks ago..:upsidedow Still stinks though that prices are going up...

Pretty soon, they are going to price most of us out of going. I love Disney, I really do, but if the ticket prices keep going up, I won't be able to go much longer.

I agree Missy. The last two tickets I purchased I used my Disney Visa Reward Points these were 10 day, no exp tickets, so I should be ok for the next couple of trips unless, if any of my boys join us then I'll have to get them tickets.

I am opposite.....don't mind them going up.
maybe it will keep the crowds down. I really wish they would do away with the dining plan too :duck:

Nancy, no matter what the price of the ticket I don't think that will keep the crowds away. I'm with you on the dining plan, I could take it or leave it.
