Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow! I guess I need to go back to the parks Thursday or Friday to try it and see if the lights and sounds work. My UPS doesn't deliver until about 6pm so I won't really make it for tomorrow.

I'm the same way. I've never purchased a MB, and I don't see myself buying on in the future.

I ordered two at two different times.

The second one I have a Tracking Number for, the first one I ordered still says processing. I called yesterday and was told they were both fine although they both say Call Customer Service. I guess I'll find out.

I do this for a living... $15 is a 55% discount roughly. They give the bands away for free, the printing costs associated are not that high. Not going to do it. I can just use a sharpie and just write DVC member if I feel I need to have the attention that I'm a member on my magic band.

Admittedly, I do NOT calculate magicband discounts for a living. However, you said "$10-15", so if you want to be picky, it's "55-71%" off to score that "maybe". I figured the odds would be better at $10 so I went with that. (But again, I work in IT, so this isn't my area of specialty...)

I bought one for myself (purple) and my husband (blue). I normally don't fall pry to these types of additions but this one I thought was really cool and something we wanted to celebrate.

Went to look at or possibly purchase our two today at the large store in Epcot. Cashier in the Magic Band area said that they did not arrive as expected. We leave early tomorrow so I never asked when they are expected in.

I already have 8 MB's of various colors that I got for free...why would I pay $40 for a new "special" one !!! If I did, my DW would have me committed.

Well I can justify the cost by not going out to dinner this week. We all spend money on something that's a want and not necessarily a need.

So do I. Like I said above, I dont buy gift for myself any longer at Disney since I go once or twice a year so I justified thtis as a gift to myself for my next trip, which is between Christmas and New Years Day.
