Who is going over Thanksgiving?

Who else has decided to ditch their extended family and head over to WDW during Thanksgiving?

And where are you staying.

We will be at the Poly for the first time since 1971!

We are spending our third Thanksgiving in the World! We check in a week prior to Turkey Day and check out the Saturday after. This trip is even more special because my girls will be dancing in the MK the day prior to Thanksgiving.

We are arriving Thursday Nov. 17th a week before Thanksgiving and leaving on Sat. the 26th. We are staying 6 nights at SOG and 3 at CS. Can't wait. We went 3 years ago at Thanksgiving and we also went this past Jan.

We're doing a quick trip over Thanksgiving arriving the Wednesday before TG and leaving Sunday night after TG. Only 4 nights.sniff We're staying Wednesday and Thursday night at POFQ then moving to BCV for Friday & Saturday night. Plane leaves at 7:30 Sunday night. Hate having to switch resorts but that's the only way we could do it on short notice over a busy week. I don't even think we'll bother to unpack our clothes. I've never been on this short a trip before and don't know how to do it!lol

DS16 and I will arrive at VWL on Saturday, 11/19, and leaving Friday, 11/25, for our first trip during Thanksgiving.

we will be there for the first time for Thanksgiving.....arriving the 19th and leaving the 26th and staying at ASMu for the first time.....hope this is a good resort!?!?!

We are spending our second Thanksgiving in a row at WDW, arriving on Nov. 18th and leaving Nov. 26. This year we are staying at POFQ.

This is our first year away from home. We've got 2 grown sons (empty nesters here), but DH always wanted to stay home "just in case" they wanted to come home, which they often did, or at least they seemed to want to. But last year DS #1 couldn't and he felt bad-for us! So he's very happy we're going away-takes the pressure off him to come home to see "the old folks"! The other son is in college, but he lives in a house and many of his friends in school stay there over Thanksgiving. So he'd just as soon (maybe more?) have pizza and beer with his buddies than turkey with yes, "the old folks".
So we'll be at OKW 11/19-11/25, then I stay on the following week solo at BCV.

Missing cooking for days to be eaten in 15 min., family squabbles, gossip, lots of people in small spaces, Oh NO NOT US!! We are going to WDW!! We leave on Thanksgiving and return on November 30th. We're staying at CBR. It's our first time on-site, haven't been in 9 years, we're surprising our DS12 and DS15 by not telling them until the morning we leave!! Can you tell the excitement is getting to me!!

We are arriving the day before and leaving the Monday after. Having Thanksgiving dinner at Crystal Palace.

Got lots of other plans to make a FULL 5 days there.

We ared headed down on 11/22, meeting up with DH and DB on 11/23. Going to CP on 11/25 and MVMCP on 11/27. We fly out on 11/28! I am so excited I can't stand it!

We are! Flying down 11/21 and staying 6 nights at POFQ. Meeting up with DS, DBIL and my DNephew for the holiday weekend. Then we're spending 5 wonderful nights at the Grand Floridian. Doing MVMCP, Cirque and Candlelight Processional. Can't wait! 43 days left for us til we leave!

We are going over Thanksgiving week for our first ever trip to Disney. We will arrive at the CSR on 11/19 and depart on 11/25. It will be me, dh and two kids, 6 and 9.

It is so tough deciding on what to do when.

Not ditching, but bringing them! My inlaws and their whole side of the family are joining us for Tday at Cypress Point Grandvillas Nov 19-27th. We'll have Nov 16-19th in St. Augustine with my parents and Nov 27-29th at Universal Royal Pacific on our own.
