I am, just booked it, Westjet was having a seat sale it was 2580.70 direct from Edmonton, park passes, free dining and staying at All Star Sports!

YAHOO So excited!

So are we:woohoo: although we actually get to the world on the 31st of January and are there for 6 days. Flying out of Detroit on Delta. We live in London, Ont so driving to Toronto or Detroit is pretty close time wise BUT the $$$ savings flying out of Detroit is huge. We are staying at All Star Movies. DS7 doesn't know he's going yet but he will Xmas morning:banana:

That is wonderful!! My kids enjoyed going and getting it as a xmas present. Are you doing anything special for the surprise?

We leave Jan 6 and come back on the 14th. I also live in London and we are also flying Delta out of Detroit. At half the cost of Toronto it's well worth the drive (same distance either way pretty much). We will be at the Swan. Too excited :cool1:

Thats awesome , its a 8hr drive for us to get to the closest us Airport, not so good for us, but the seat sales were great.

We'll be there from the 5th-12th. We live in Niagara so we drive to Buffalo to fly. Southwest only cost us $800 return! That's like just the tax to fly in and out of Toronto!! We'll be staying in the timeshare we just bought, Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and we are soooo excited. Well, DH and I are excited because our DD's don't know yet. We are telling them when we get to the airport!:lmao:

I suppose we qualify as January visitors as we arrive on Dec. 31. We're staying at CBR until Jan. 7.

I hope to have enough energy left after a day of traveling to head off to EPCOT for the New Year's Eve fireworks and EMH until 2 AM!

Have great trips everyone!:goodvibes:)

We wrapped a $25.00 Disney Gift Card in a box along with a picture of All Star Movies and a note saying he could spend it in 37 days when we go to the world.

Crazy isn't it!. We paid $201.40 per person non stop rt out of Detroit on Delta. I think the flight times are better as well vs Toronto. Going down, our flight leaves at 10:00am. Coming back it leaves at 12:05pm. I remember leaving from Toronto a few years back and the flight left at 6am. By the time we got to the airport(left London at 2:30am) , flew down , drove to the resort(pre ME), we were exhausted. Due to high volume, Delta operates something like 6 flights a day, that's doesn't include Airtran and Spirit.

So we can start a new club ... London'ers go to WDW in Jan! :rotfl2: We are there from Jan 2nd to Jan 9th. We too are on Delta out of Detroit. :thumbsup2

Hey LdnCpl! We're arriving in Orlando the same day! For our family of 5, it was cheaper to stay at the Port Orleans Riverside, and we got free dining! :cool1:
We're there for 8 nights and I can't wait!
We've arranged for dining at a different restaurant every day! Most of it character, but starting with the 1st at Wolfgang Pucks, then Thursday at GF, Fri at Tusker House, Sat at Wilderness Lodge, Sun at Chef Mickey's, Mon at Crystal Palace, Tue at Polynesian.
havn't been to most of those locations so it will be exciting!
Maybe we'll see you there!
Just look for those lime green Mickey's on one of us!

Hey maryliz, we're going to my uncle's golf course in Ingersoll tomorrow. Does that count us as Londoners? You're just a month earlier than us, that's all.

Last year it was the 3 of us plus my MIL and a nephew so we stayed at POR. WE love it there and we found the same thing..it was cheaper with 5. We did the sit down restaurant and enjoyed them. The restaurants we dined at were in order from best to worst.

1) Liberty Tree Tavern
2) Rose and Crown
3) Planet Hollywood
4) Chef Mickey's
5) Tony's Town
6) Tusker House
7) Hollywood & Vine

In general I found the buffet's to be kind of bland. We went to Crystal Palace in '07 and enjoyed it. I'd say have a great time but how can you not:thumbsup2

Hey all you Londoner's ... any of you have a lic plate that is DZNY FRK ??? If so, I followed you off of Langarth St. onto Wharncliffe Rd yesterday. :rotfl2:
I know the family that have plate DSNY FAN live in that area, so maybe they just got another vehicle. ;)

I still smile when I see a Mickey Ball on my way to work in the morning ... somehow makes a nice start to a boring work day. :goodvibes

Wow! Only been to LTT and Hollywood/Vine. I like the LTT, but stopped when they stopped the character dining there. I agree with your Hollywood/Vine assessment (even though DB claims it's one of the best!:rolleyes1) Never been to Chef Mickey's but curious whether I'd rate it the same as you in Feb. Tusker House I'm also interested in.
We generally like the buffets mainly because of a couple of finicky DS's. At least they'll find SOMETHING they like!

:santa:Merry Christmas Everybody!!!:santa:

Count us in! We arrive Jan 28 for 5 nights at AKV and BLT. Wish we could get BLT for all 5 nights. And then on Feb 2 we board the Disney Dream for a 3 night cruise and head home on Feb 5.
We booked our air out of Niagara Falls, NY into St. petes on Allegiant Air. We got 4 seats for $677 return! That is including the $80 I prepaid for 2 suitcases.
We do not live in London but proudly have our Minnie antenna topper on our "minnie" van!

That's a great idea! You can add myself and DW to the Londoner's list!
:thumbsup2

We're going down on the 22nd, staying until the 26th. This is our first visit as DVC'ers, staying at BLT as well as VWL.

Can't wait!
