Who is going in August

DW = BensWife who has been on this board for a couple of weeks already posted. I joined today and we are going in 15 days (Aug 12 - 16). Our first vacation alone since having kids almost 4 years ago. We were at the GCH in June with our family for 2 days and did get to see enough. I have training at IBM for work so DW and I are going 4 days early.

Ok, just booked a quick weekend trip Aug 7th - 9th...Fingers are crossed crowds won't be too large...

I also can't wait to finally see "World of Color" I booked the reserved picnic lunch deal they were offering. It seemed like a great way to eat and be able to watch the show. Does anyone know if when we pick up our lunches if they will let us have the final show as the reserved instead of the first? We want to watch fireworks at DL, and then head over for the late show for World of Color.

27 days to go... I have booked our Fantasmic reserved seating, WOC picnic and Discover the Magic tour. Nothing else to do now but wait.

A quick question. When I booked the tour and Fantasmic reserved seating the CM said to go to any ticket office on the day we arrive (we are staying off-site) and pick up the tickets. I have read a lot on here about picking up tickets for Fantasmic especially from guest services on the morning of the show. Has anybody picked them up before the show date?

yikes, I hope not, I wanted to preorder so they were not sold out and use my annual passport discount or I would of waited. Our plan is to catch fireworks then head over for the final world of color show...so hopefully they let me when I pick up my lunch, thanks for the reply

Just *barely* decided that we're going in August. Will be there (in the parks) on the 15th. Trying something crazy and we're going to be camping! Never done that before. Hope it works out!

Also, when you go to pick up the picnics for WoC, they already have your fastpasses pre-printed for the earliest show. You may want to call reservations to see if there's a way to get it switched until waiting till you're at the park.

I've booked WOC picnic, Goofy's Breakfast and Storytellers Breakfast! We leave in 19 days Driving down through San Fran! I'm So So SO SO excited I just can't keep it in!!!!

We'll be there August 14-15, staying at the Fairfield Inn.

We were invited to a red-carpet, Hollywood premiere (yee-ow!) so we're extending by a day to hop between Disneyland and California Adventure! We've booked dinner at Steakhouse 55, because I can't wait to drink a Zen and Zang again. And we've purchased a picnic lunch so we can have special seating for World of Color!

Our last trip to DL was in 2008...what do we need to NOT miss this year? We're thinking WoC, Captain EO...others?

Thank you! I am so excited. I am glad I didn't get rid of all the planning stuff I had from earlier! I called and booked our breakfast ressies and booked WOC online (from work lol)

Only thing left to do is to pack and go!

Well we can be removed from list our trip must be postponed till first week of OCT which is way better than no trip at all and we will get to see all the halloween stuff never been for halloween. I think I am almost happier with Oct.

Yay!! One more week for us! But I think i'll be excited just to survive the night. It was my sons kindergarten graduation (they're year round school) so we had 9 kids over to celebrate and 5 spent the night, so with my son that makes 6 5&6 year olds. 2 are asleep, only 4 more to go! I don't know what I was thinking.
