Hi Guys

Just sat here depressed, thingking about me and my DW honeymoon last december. It was this time last year we were almost done planning etc.

Anyway for you going around this time i know how strapped for cash things can get. Well if you want to maybe have an evening doing somthing that cost no or little money then do what me and my DW did.

During The 2nd/ 3rd week of december is the best time for this when you know that the resort will have more guest. Take a boat or bus to Fort wilderness and camp grounds, nip to the shop buy some pop, sweets what ever and then have a nice walk around the grounds. The amount of caravans and tents that have decorations up is fantastic. Children will love it and you get too meet some really nice people great way to unwind and have a night off

Just thought id share!!!

Great idea! :thumbsup2
We're going in 2 weeks - sounds like something to consider doing!
Also sounds like you need to be planning your next trip! :lmao:

Good idea.

Chip and dale campfire sing a long is also on every night at 7pm at ft wilderness. It is free!

We did it last December. You get there 6.30ish and can toast marshmallows on the camp fire. Either bring your own or buy them from the chuck wagon - sells those and drinks, hot dogs etc.

A 'cowboy' sings some songs to join in with then chip and dale come. They made sure everyone met one of them and got an autograph. The kids can dance at the front.

They then show a movie but we left at the end of the campfire as DD was only 3.

Was sojmething a bit different, we enjoyed it.
