Hi all,
have not been active in this forum for a while,(still recovering from 3 weeks of magic in november 2005,lol).Anyway to the point,we are looking to book a trip this year for 2 weeks starting 1st dec 2006,we are looking then because this incorperates the christmas themes around Disney, something we have never experienced+this time of year the costs at resorts are lower. We have always stopped in a villa offsite,so have no knowledge of booking at disney resorts.therefore i am looking for you good people for advice.i.e who would be best for prices, discounts, etc.Would booking the full package be best,or would booking flights, accom, attraction tickets etc be more cost effective. The resorts we are interested in staying in are Animal kingdom lodge,Wilderness lodge,or port orleans+maybe Coranado springs.Where would i look to find the best possible price for this :confused3 .
there will be 2 adults+1 child in our group.although this will more than likely end up with our usual number of friends+family(9 in 1999,16 in 2001,11 in 2003+12 in 2005)deciding they want to come :rotfl2: ,anyway any advice will be much appreciated.
many thanks eblue :scared1:

I would recommend you contact Dreams Unlimited for a personalised quote. They continually check for discounts which can be applied to your Disney Resort reservation right up until you leave.

Recently unless you have an annual pass it is really difficult to get discounts from Disney, there used to be certain codes you could use and get upgrades from moderate to deluxe but I have not seen any for ages. Its worth checking out mousesavers (don't know the address right now but if you do a search you should find it) As if there are any codes they will be on there. Then you just call Disney direct.

I second this - you are also assigned your own agent who will also be able to make your dining reservations for you :)

We`ve used Dreamsunlimited for our last 2 trips, I can highly reccommend them.
We always book our own flights and taken it from there.
Good luck, I love planning a trip to WDW!

If you are planning on using most of the time at disney and as it is 14 days, then it may well be worth one of you getting an annual pass to get te discounts, you can also use it to get the diney dining card which gives 20% of most table service resturants and a few CS ones where there are not any TS ones at the resort, such as POFQ.

If you book through an agent or through Disney do not forget if you are a member fo the AA you can get the AAA disocounts on rooms.

Thanks for the advice,so far,i am in the a.a,to use this who do i contact(what website).and please, keep the advice coming.

many thanks eblue

Contact Dreams Unlimited and just let them know that you are eligible for AAA discounts :) Alternatively, if you call Disney direct, just say you are an AAA member in order for them to tell you the discounted rates.

:sunny: another vote for Dreams unlimited here :sunny:

or phone disney direct but calls can cost a lot from this side of the pond ,when you are left listening to Disney music :rotfl:
