I like the way you surprised Maddie with BBB. That's great that the FG played along with it!

Congrats on the 100K target on Buzz. I kind of have that super competitive thing going too and actually tried to do some research to find those targets. I still can't seem to find enough of them to get the 999999 score, but I did hit 2 100K targets last time (or 1 100k target twice ). It would really help if you could tell which dot is yours.

I'm glad you all enjoyed Monsters... even MiL.

I suck, badly at Buzz. I rock TSM, but Buzz just my bane! We will never do Stitch as long as Kadence has anything to say about it, She HATED it, but she loves Stitch. What a weird kid.

I was so happy that it worked out! She was just talking about it yesterday, it definitely made an impression. It was so sweet.

And Yay! for getting to ride some rides before BBB! I love that Maddie made up a song on Buzz. UGH - the Stitch ride. I like Stitch but that ride/attraction/whatever you want to call it kind of freaks me out. When I went to see my friend this weekend to work on my costume, her son (who is 10) was telling Reid about it & asking if he'd gone on it yet. Well, now Reid is insisting that we do it. I know it's going to freak him out even though he likes Stitch. I'm hoping he'll forget about it.

I was glad that we got some rides in, I knew it would be all princesses all day after BBB.

She had no idea what Stitch was about, but she sure doesn't feel the need to do it again! It didn't scare Maddie at all, I'm not sure if she wasn't really paying attention to the storyline or if she was too short to really feel the effects in the chair. Either way I'm glad she wasn't scared. I can't stand that ride though. I hope for you sake that Reid forgets too!

Maddie looked so happy. I am glad having the fairy godmother hand her the inivitation worked out. Way to stall.

I want Crap to be selected for That Guy too. Glad MIL liked Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. It is my favorite MK attraction.

This will actually be her third trip! She was 8 months for the first one and 22 months for the last one. And we all got horribly sick during the last one, so we're hoping this trip will make up for it, since she's now so much more into Disney stuff. This will be the first trip for our son. He'll be 16 months at the time, so it will definitely be more about big sister. My MIL will be joining us on our trip, too (and staying in the same room, at least it's a one bedroom DVC). Thankfully, I believe that she'll be a better traveling companion than yours. She's even agreed to let us have a date night one night.

Oh wow, she's an old pro! I'm sure that the trip will be great. I'll cross my fingers that no one gets sick.

I love that Disney will do those little extra things, like the experience you had with the Fairy Godmother, that just make things soooo much more special and magical. looking forward to hearing about this BBB experience. Thanks! I was so happy that it worked out. If it hadn't we would were going to have one of the ladies who worked at Castle Couture say that FG dropped it off there for her. That wouldn't have been nearly as cool.

I wish that I could say that I hit that target on purpose, but it was purely accidental I can't even tell where I'm shooting in there 99% of the time! If I can do it, so can you!

I love the laugh floor too, I think its an overlooked attraction. My DH has never been chosen as "that guy" but he was once chosen as Randall in the Monsters Inc remake! (He kinda does look like Randall, but he gets really mad every time I bring that up! )

Oh Stitch. I honestly think it's the worst attraction in MK. I can't stand it. But, I'm glad that we did it so that she won't be tempted again!

I adore Laugh Floor!!! It's just so funny. That's hilarious that you say that about Randall, I'll bet your DH doesn't enjoy that! I've told my husband that he looks like Joey Fatone from NSync for years. He doesn't care for that either. He always says "The fat one?"

The 100K was pure luck (which DH reminded me all day I said we're competitive not good sports) I always ride with Maddie, so for the time being I am assured a win in my car at least. The 'storyline' of Stitch is that some government agency is trying to keep Stitch prisoner. He is trying to escape. Over the course of the attraction (you're strapped into seats that don't move) stitch spits on you, burps foul odors, and the lights blink on and off a lot. I'm not sure if Maddie didn't follow the story, or if she just thinks Stitch is that funny, but she wasn't freaked out at all. I'm not sure if you think your kids would be upset by it, but if you can get away with skipping it-do. It's a total waste of time.

The teachers asked each child what they wanted to be when they grow up. Most chose fireman, teacher, etc. Here's Maddie's

Gymnastics awards

Dance Recital. I had a hard time getting good photos in the light, and to be honest, I was more concerned with watching than fiddling with the camera.

The dance teacher stood off to the side and did the dance with the girls. That's who Maddie is looking at.
