Who hit up walmart this morning

I went at 5:00 and got the cards. I really rather would have $10 or $15 because DD uses them like water. I didn't get a gift receipt to prove I paid, aren't you supposed to get those. I did at Kroger when I bought them there.

I showed up at 12:30 and they still had tons of iTunes cards left. The guy working there said that because of the computer glitch they had to set aside about 50 of them for customers to come back later for. Even with those set aside, he grabbed mine from a big stack. I picked up 2.
We had to stop back by Wal Mart on the way home from my son's football game and my husband went back and asked about the cards and they still had some left (this was just an hour ago). He got 2 more and the guy told him that the sale would be going on until tomorrow. Not sure if this is because of the problems people had this morning or what.

I went to use my $8 Toy Story 3 coupon (forgot about the big sale lol) and got the itunes cards also. It was after noon and they still had 2-3 of each of the tv's and the ps3 's left. The electronics employee said I was the first one that asked for the itunes cards- there were hundreds left on the rack still?!

I don't normally bother to get their "deals". Since Walmart has a price match policy, I just wait until somebody else like Target, Best Buy, etc...puts something on sale. Then I take that ad to Walmart and get the same price.

It works much better because then you are not competing with the other Walmart shoppers for a limited number of items.

Got my two iTunes cards this afternoon (about 2 PM).

Somebody from electronics were handing them out (limit two).

I also saw a display of about five of the 32" TVs still available. But I just wanted the iTunes card.

Good trip. I decided I wasn't going to make a early trip, since I had to go out this afternoon. If I didn't get the cards, no big deal.

As it was, I got the two $50 cards, a cell phone charger and supper...all for less than $100.

One of the cards is for me. The other will probably be for my youngest daughter.

Now for the lookout for a sale on $25 for my nieces and nephews. I'm no longer a Sam's Club member, so that won't help. Unless I ask my eldest daughter (who I think is still a member) to get them for me.

i made a trip to wal-mart just to get one of the iTunes cards for my 18 yo cousin for Christmas. i usually buy him a $25 card, but i'm sure he'll be pleasantly surprised by a $50 one! lol

I just got back from walmart at 5:30 and bought 4 itunes cards and a laptop. The lady said they still had 8 laptops left and they're were a some tvs as well as a bunch of itunes cards.

I'm glad I waited as they're was no line when I made my puchase.

it is almost 7pm here in NJ and I just got back from walmart. I bought two Itunes cards.

I got there at 8 and there was a long line in electronics. Somebody a few people ahead of me in line went up to the register and asked; they only had 11 of the computers (Amazon sold out by 12:02 AM, by the way - after making it available at midnight!) and not a lot of the 26" tvs. And they were having the same glitch with the iTunes cards. I went back about four and got two of the cards, and probably could have gotten more - the cashier wasn't aware of a limit.

Oh, I also got a $25 card (for $24.88 ), some mundane stuff, a Halloween t-shirt for a dollar, and next year's costume for $1.90. The costumes and the 'tricks' are marked down to 90% off; candy's still only 50% off, at least in my neck of the woods as of 5 PM Saturday.

My mom went this morning at 6am because she wanted to get a tv and laptop. She expected there to be a long wait but she ended up being the only one there for a while. They had a different line for each size tv or something and then put everyone in one long line so even though my mom had gotten there first she was behind people that had gotten there at 7:45. She wasn't too happy Though she did end up getting 2 tv's and 2 laptops. They weren't able to ring up the itunes gift cards correctly though so she has to go back to get a credit

I ordered my Vizio from Amazon so I didn't have to pay sales tax and it is delivered to my door. I did get the I tunes gift cards and then we found a slew of summer clothes all for a dollar. DH is getting 8 pairs of shorts, DD is getting dresses and shorts, other DD is getting dresses also.

DS got a new halloween costume for $1.40!

My mom was able to get the tvs this morning.

i went at 8 this morning and was 6th in line - got 2 laptops and a 32" tv.

went to a differnent walmart in same town at 3 pm and they had lots of everything left, no one even looking at them.

went to Sam;s and found the exact same 32" tv that I purchased at 8 for $298 at walmart for $288 at Sam's. I was pissed. That was sam's regular price and Walmart made a big deal about the $298 price.

But the laptops are a good deal. We bought one in August for $298, so it was a good price for me.

I went to WalMart to get pumpkin pie (good brand sold out!) and then noticed the $1.00 clothing racks (very picked throuhh since it was evening but still got a few things) and the 90% off Halloween stuff. Whee! Only got a few things, but got the pre contructed gingerbread house for .90. What I do is get a bunch of Christmas-y stuff and decorate it for Christmas instead of Halloween.. It's a little odd looking for Christmas, since it's designed off kilter for Halloween, but it works for me and the grandkids love decorating it
