Nathan has had an ear ache; that probably stems from this cold he has been fighting. He's not going to school today and I plan on taking him to the doctor later.

The book is complete, with the exception of a few details, the house is decorated, and I wound up coming in Friday for 2 hours and Saturday for 2 hours. I had to come back to work today so I could have a break!

Yes I worked today, I ended up spending way too much on candles even though I really shouldn't have!

Oh yes, the troubles of working in retail. You're already right there, it's so easy to just buy stuff!! I hope you got some good stuff and took advantage of the sales! Oh, and you can add me to your Christmas list too. I like the tarts because I'm afraid if I lit any candles Roxy would set herself on fire.

Ashley: Is there anything Ruby WON'T eat?? I hope she's ok! If the vet wasn't concerned, then I'm sure she'll be fine. What a stinker she is!! I caught Roxy trying to eat the dining room table the other day. The table! She's 5 lbs, the table is 6 feet round. It's not going to work!! Vanilla Lime sounds yummy.

I have to go dance around the living room and get all sweaty so the cold water will feel good.

Whew, you have been a busy gal! I totally understand that last bit - I am so happy to be at work today and get some peace and quiet. I love my kids, but 5 straight days full of them and I need a break!! I miss them already though.



I have some possible great news....
I'm maybe going to DISNEY WORLD!!

My parents want to go on a cruise, and they suggested that I go on my vacation at the same time so we don't have babysitting issues. They suggested that I ask Lyzzie's dad & grandparents to join us, and to pay for Lyzzie's airfare as a Christmas gift. Since my AP expires in Feb, it would be at the end of January. I was originally hoping to go then, but it would have been just Lyzzie and I since it's too hard for me to travel with both girls, but if the grandparents and Lyzzie's dad are there then we could all go, but then it's more expensive. So I proposed to my parents that if THEY could pay for Emma's airfare, I would ask Lyzzie's grandparents to pay for hers. (Are you still with me?) Then I would only need to pay for a room and to upgrade Emma's one-day ticket that I have from our last trip. My dad agreed to cover Emma's airfare, and I sent an email to Lyzzie's grandparents. If they come through, then we'll be at WDW in two months!! Since they were not invited on our last few trips, I'm sure they'll jump through hoops in order to see their precious grandbaby (as long as I make it easy for them, that is).

It's less than an ideal trip, but hey it's better than nothing right? I'd better get working on Sunshine Rewards and get some Disney Dollars racked up, just in case!!

Thanks for the well wishes regarding Ruby. We took her to her normal vet today because we called them to let them know and they suggested bringing her in. 2 x rays, an ear culture???, and some ointment for her ear later, they think she will be fine. We still have to watch her for the next few days though. No, the light wasn't chocolate covered Thank Goodness!!

Lyzziesmom, its great you could be going to WDW!!! Why do you have to take Lyzzies's dad and his parents to be able to go? nevermind, I just read its because its hard to travel with both girls! I hope you are able to go. Fingers crossed!!

Well, I took Nathan to the Dr. today and found out has an ear infection similar to strep throat. I think he actually called it Strep ear.

Ashley:: I'm sure Ruby will be fine. Like the others said, if the vet isn't concerned there's probably nothing to worry about. I told Nathan what happened and he said "Ohhh, that little dog." He knows who Ruby is from seeing her pictures in your siggie.


DznyFan:: That's great that your done with the book and your decorating is done!! I hope you got some rest at work today.

Not much going on at my house. Nathan and I spent 1 1/2 hrs. at the doctor's office; then had to pic up his antibiotic and a few groceries while we were waiting.
We've finished supper and I've done the dishes.....fun times.

I think I may let him got to school tomorrow, but not play basketball tomorrow night. I think Nathan actually want to go to school so he doesn't have so many days of make-up work.

Hey Donna...glad Nathan is starting to feel better. If it makes you feel any better the strep bacteria can invade anywhere...eyes, ears, nose, throat...etc. Another bacteria that lives on the skin and is very common is called staph. They would have to culture it to make sure but they are both treated with similar antibiotics.

Sounds like you had a fun filled day. I'm not so sure it didn't beat my luandry day. I did have to take DS after school for his allergies shots. We missed a couple of week recently...oopsie.

Hello everyone.

It was so hard getting up this morning. I got used to not having to get up for work. Plus naturally it is my week to work the breakfast. So I had to be there at 7:15. I'm sitting here this morning putting my socks on, look at the clock...7:10!! And I have no makeup on yet

I managed to make it at 7:15 exactly. Thank goodness I am only a couple of blocks from the school. Then one of the other paras didn't show up for work today.

I'm heading to bed now so have a good night!!
