Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

Ashley- I've seen the UHauls Lyzziesmom talked about, the ones that you can put your car on. Hopefully you can find something affordable. I'm thinking about shipping a box or two to some people that my parents know. I don't know how I'll fit everything in my car!

Lyzziesmom- That happened to us yesterday, a family came in and had to sit a seat over from us, and they talked all through the previews, the Goofy cartoon and the first 15 minutes of the movie! I told Steven and we moved down a few seats, which is something I never do. Usually I just put up with it! I love your outfit. ;)

I don't know if I mentioned it, but I found a girl that was at the presentation for the CP with me on Myspace, and tomorrow I'm going to meet her and she's going to show me all her stuff from her past CP's. :yay: Only 20 more days left!:scared1:

Linda...I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandpa. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers. :grouphug: I hope your cold gets better...we've been stuggling too. I think it's all the weather changes. Are Mike's allergies better?

Ashley...goodness, I hope you figure out a way to move your stuff. Is there a moving board on here? We've only moved once and we rented a Uhaul.

Michele...how's the throat. We keep passing around a cold or something. Hope you are on the mend.:flower3:

Lesa...good luck with Maddies evaluation. Did you find all the answers for your paperwork? I would be out of luck because I wrote very little stuff down. How's Maddie's wheezing?

2x2s...singing to you...hmmm...I bet that is lovely.:rolleyes1

Donna...you must explain what a "cheat" is for a ps2 game?

Nicole...how big is your car? I think shipping a couple of boxes down sounds like a good plan. How many days before you leave?

lyzziemom...I have TGM...did you find out what you needed? Was Emma feeling better today?

Pozey...sounds like the boys had a good swim meet. Did you guys get outside today? DH set up the trampoline...I only helped as needed. :cool1: I think it was 74 today...a bit windy though.

DznyFan... are you going to pick out a lunch spot for us?;)

Amber...sorry you are feeling a little anxious. I do have to agree about the hormones being very wacky. Don't forget that Mike will have a job with your dad if he can't find anything else. I'm sure you both feel an incredible weight upon you with the baby coming. Are you on insurance through your work? Hang in there...try to take one day at a time.:grouphug:

Last night I fell alseep at the computer...tonight we went out to eat and I had pancakes and coffee...so I'm wide awake. Steel Magnolias is on TBS.

Annelle: Miss Truvy, I promise that my personal tragedy will not interfere with my ability to do good hair.

Clairee Belcher: Well, you know what they say: if you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!

Ouiser Boudreaux: I'm not crazy, I've just been a very bad mood for the last 40 years!

Truvy: Well, these thighs haven't gone out of the house without lycra on them sice I was 14.
Clairee: You were brought up right.

:rotfl2:

Goood morning!!

Well, it's back to work and school in our house today. Gary left about 20 minutes early, hopefully beating some of the rush hour traffic and trying a new route into work.
Nathan wasn't a happy camper at bedtime last night; he's used to staying up late. (Insert night owl smilie here.)

How about joining me; I've got warm chocolate muffins ready!!:cloud9:

I hope you all have a Marvelous Monday!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

2x2s:: I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your movie! I knew that Sweeney was a murderer, but I actually did a little reading on the story line. I didn't realize until this evening what they actually did with the bodies!!!:faint: :faint:
I hope you get to feeling better. (There is no such thing as a "dumb" reason for feeling blue.)

Nicole, have fun meeting your friend!! Sounds like that should be really interesting!!

The way I understand it is, it's a series of commands that you have to key into your controller to advance in the game or to acquire something specific. We just go into Google and type in something like "PS2 Monster Jam cheats" and different websites will be available. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.:confused3 Are you sorry you asked??:lmao:

Well, better get going. Don't you just love Monday mornings?

The boys had a fantastic meet. Colton especially. He made "Meet of Champions" - which will be in Bartlesville this coming weekend. Chase swam great as well.

DznyFan... are you going to pick out a lunch spot for us?;)
popcorn:: popcorn:: Date and time??? :woohoo:

Oh, yum!!! Look at the chocolate muffins! Thanks, Donna!

I will never eat shepherd's pie again, though.:lmao:

"It's fop.
Finest in the shop.
Or we have some shepherd's pie peppered
With actual shepherd
On top.

And I've just begun.
Here's a politician-so oily
It's served with a doily--
Have one?"
Oh how funny!! And you know - I made Shepherd's Pie last week for dinner and Erin never said anything! Other than, "this is good". I'm kind of glad she didn't make the connection.

Congrats, Colton! Nice job! To BOTH boys!

Hmmm..... date, time, place? Well, Fridays are always good for me. I suppose something a little more centrally located - Pozey and YM what's between me and you guys? I'm drawing a blank.

Ugh - back to regular full weeks for all us working folk, huh? And I guess the rest of the kiddos are going back to school today? Our HS has their finals today and tomorrow - were supposed to have been before we got out for Christmas break but they got bumped due to the ice storm.

I'll check back - have a great day, everybody!

Fridays are normally fine for me too.....except for THIS Friday. I already have plans. Any other time is fine though.

Colton has 2 or 3 mid-term tests today. And a couple more tomorrow. These are the same thing....supposed to have been before Christmas.

Good morning!

I'm getting ready to take Maddie for her speech and language evaluation this morning.

Dznyfan...It's a good thing Erin didn't make the connection with the Shepperd pie.:scared: :rotfl2: Did you ever hear anything back from Shutterfly?

YM...I hope you guys fight off that nasty bug your passing around. Maddie is still wheezy this morning, but that is to be expected with our drastic weather change and damp weather. I do see a definite difference with the symbicort, she doesn't seem to have as many breakthroughs. I am going to have to take her to the Dr today as she is having the wheezing on only the one lung again. When that happened last time she had a lot of mucky plugs in the other one. :teacher: :scared:

Have a great day everyone! :grouphug:

Pozey...Tell Colton congrats and both boys great job! How have things been going lately?

2X...I agree with Donna, there is never a stupid reason for feeling blue! Hope things are looking up today.

Britt definitely did not want to get up this morning for school. Her alarm went off and I heard a growl come from her bed. :lmao: She has been reading Marley and Me and was getting towards the end last night. David had to take the book away from her because she would have stayed up to finish it and then wouldn't have been able to sleep because she was crying so hard. :upsidedow

Hi Lesa!

I will tell Colton! He was so excited!!

I'm doing alright.

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lesa- I hope Maddie's evaluation goes well!

Pozey- Congrats to Colton! Both boys did great!

Good morning cliqueless pals. Thanks Donna for the yummy breakfast. Those muffins always look so good. I need the recipe! ;) DS wanted chocolate chip waffles this morning...or pancakes and when I said no he stomped away. He's just been a little moody lately. It's almost like he wants to make himself unhappy instead of happy.:confused3 He is 10 so I'm wondering if some might be his age?

Hey Pozey and DznyFan...we could shoot for next Friday? I will be working in town. What about Fridays (the one on 41st between Yale and Sheridan?)...just thought I would through out a suggestion.

Well, I'm sitting here avoiding all the work I need to be doing...ie laundry, packing up Christmas stuff, cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning.:rolleyes1

I think that would work for me.

OMG Linda...of course that could have been making you sick. How lucky that you finally found it. Hopefully you will all start to feel better now.

I am so sorry about your Grandfather

I have been feeling better but then last night every time I eat my throat hurts like crazy! It starts a few minutes after I start eating and lasts for about an hour. Now you would think I would lose some weight because it makes me stop eating but...you would be wrong. :rolleyes1 I just suffer through and then complain. I have never had throat pain like this before. I can see, if this continues I will need to call the doctor tomorrow.
yeah, I'm hoping now that we found it and got it out of the house we'll start feeling better. We pulled everything else out too, just to be sure ;)!
Thanks:hug:
Hope you get to feeling better soon. Might want to let the dr. check your throat out.;)
Hello!

Today is pretty warm out, 50 degrees, but everything is muddy and ugly out.

Linda, good thing you found that box! What is a feather tick, or maybe I don't want to know.

Featherbeds were only for the rich in the 14th century, but by the 19th century they were a comfort that ordinary people could aspire to - especially if they kept a few geese. The beds, also called feather ticks or feather mattresses, were valuable possessions. People made wills promising them to the next generation, and emigrants travelling to the New World from Europe packed up bulky featherbeds and took them on the voyage. If you didn't inherit one, you needed to buy up to 50 pounds of feathers, or save feathers from years of plucking until there were enough for a new bed.

It is kinda like a thick comforter type thing you put on top of your mattress for extra cushioning. we don't use them anymore but always did at grandmas house. This one was handed down from Mikes grandmother:guilty: picture tons and tons of wet, moldy, rotted feathers..everywhere! Nasty and such a shame. Old handmade quilts from his grandmother :headache: so sad. His sister passed away when she was about six from cancer, and he has all her old toys, blankets, and all that stuff too b/c his mom doesn't trust anyone else w/it. thankfully none of that was in there!

Double post!!

The Dis has been having alot lately!
yes it sure has:mad:

Linda - oooh that rubbermaid sounds nasty!! I'll bet that's what's been causing your sinus problems!!
yeah, it sure was! I bet it was too!
Hi, Crew!!
I finally got settled into my Dising mode. Just as I signed on, Nathan decided we should look up some cheat codes for one of his PS2 games.

Linda:: Yikes!! The moldy stuff in your basement could well be a source of your sinus/allergy issues. Especially if you've been spending a lot of time downstairs in your Disney room!! I hope you get to feeling better now!!
Have funon that ps2 Nathan!

yeah, thankfully we haven't been down there a lot, but w/the corn burner going, the doors are always all open for ventilation. oops!

Even Emma told them "I can't hear!"
 she's so cute!
'ello dawlings!!

Linda----I am so sorry for your loss of your grandpa!!  I will be thinking of you and your family.
thanks so much. I really appreciate it. hope you get to feeling better soon. How was your dad's birthday party?

I found a girl that was at the presentation for the CP with me on Myspace, and tomorrow I'm going to meet her and she's going to show me all her stuff from her past CP's. :yay: Only 20 more days left!:scared1:
that is too awesome! and 20 days:cool1:  :yay: yay!!!

Linda...I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandpa. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers. :grouphug: I hope your cold gets better...we've been stuggling too. I think it's all the weather changes. Are Mike's allergies better?
thanks:hug: I appreciate it. the weather sure doesn't help either. Mike and Kenny have been doing pretty good as far as the allergies and sinus crud. I hope it stays that way! I think it is supposed to hit 64 here today!
Is your family feeling better? sure hope so!

Goood morning!!

Hey there! Hope Garys alt. route works out good for him. Can't blame Nathan a bit for not wanting to go to bed  thanks, those muffins look fabulous!

way to go Chase and Colton!

Good morning!

Good luck, hope things go well at the evaluation!
:rotfl: growling from Britt's room huh, that's funny!crying and sleeping definitely don't go well together!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Dznyfan...It's a good thing Erin didn't make the connection with the Shepperd pie.:scared: :rotfl2: Did you ever hear anything back from Shutterfly?
good luck with Maddie today, Lesa!! No, I haven't heard anything back yet....

Hey Pozey and DznyFan...we could shoot for next Friday? I will be working in town. What about Fridays (the one on 41st between Yale and Sheridan?)...just thought I would through out a suggestion.
Yeah, I think the age is probably the culprit of DS's moodiness.
Next Fri at Friday's sounds wonderful!

Linda - great history lesson about the feather tick!! No, thankfully the toys weren't in there. Wow - I can't believe she's kept all that (or Mike has).

So I'm really confused about how I should feel. I got a message a little while ago from DH that his older brother passed away - apparently some time last week. I've never met the guy, he lived in another state. It was my understanding that he was in/out of correctional facilities and had pretty much wasted his life. I've spoken to him on the phone - he used to call us from time to time - I was always the one to answer the phone, and every time, he'd start ripping into me for no apparent reason - spouting hatelful profanity at me the whole time. I don't know if I should feel bad for DH and DH's family (who treats DH like dirt) or what..... :confused3 personally, I'm like "whatever", and I don't know if I should try to console DH or not - my personal feelings are "why?", but I don't really know the whole history. What really kills me is that DH's father is reportedly 'devastated', but #1, we've always been told that wasn't his kid nor is DH or #2 he hasn't had anything to do with his family in MANY MANY MANY years, plus the whole prison thing.... oh, heck I don't know! I guess I probably sound heartless...
I guess I'm trying to think through this because I don't feel any sympathy, and don't know what I should feel...

I just need to vent for a second.

Mike's former company must be the biggest bunch of idiots I have ever heard of.

Today, I get an email from them explaining new procedures. Now, I realize that Mike not being there is a new development, but 1.) weeks ago they said they didn't want to use private email accounts and 2.) shouldn't they be a little careful of sending out company info to a former employee???

Also, they know for a fact that the one guy has no license (long story). Still, that guy took the company car home on Friday. They are also (seemingly) going to make him salesperson (which is good for them, since he will make much less than Mike). How on earth is that guy suppose to get to accounts when he isn't suppose to drive??? Of course, they are going to let him drive with a suspended license.

They are just stupid beyond belief.

Mike did send a bunch of resumes off yesterday and today, so please pray that one of them pans out.

OK, now I need to go catch up with everyone.

Quick question……

Has anyone here ever stayed at Coronado Springs? If so……give me your thoughts……good and bad.

Other than saying "Wow" in bewilderment, I have nothing else to say about that company.....

Best of luck to Mike in his job search! I will keep you both in my prayers.

Amber, that's crazy.

Pozey - I've never stayed there, but DH and DD did. They were "eh" about it, but that's considering they're used to Old Key West.

Thanks. One of my OU Board friends e-mailed me last night. They are planning a trip in July and wanted some information from me.

I plan on giving her your information if you don't mind.

But she said they planned on staying at Coronado Springs. Didn't give a specific reason. I did tell her that I had heard that it had more of a "Convention hotel" feel about it.
