Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 4

DznyFan,

I know Howard Stern is telling all his listeners to vote for Sanjaya...that much is true. He actually votes for him himself :rolleyes1 I don't have Sirius radio but I read his transcripts sometimes when I'm bored and he has most of his crew voting for him too:confused: I'm not sure if its his intention to get the show canceled or not though! His fans are pretty loyal so I know if he says to vote for Sanjaya, they are!

I hope Phil or Hailey go to. I can't stand the way they sound.

Mike listens to Howard Stern and most of the people from the show vote. They even want to have a party when Sanjaya wins. One guy called in last week and said he voted 14,000 times (all confirmed). He didn't want to say how he did it, because he didn't want AI to be able to stop him.

They are doing this because they feel that AI puts some people on the show just for ratings, not because they can sing. So, if they vote for the "worst" person, maybe AI will reconsider who they are putting on the show. Simon said though that if Sanjaya wins, he will not do the show again.

This is the first year I have watched it every show. Usually, we just watch the auditions, but now I have to see what will happen with Sanjaya. I do hope Blake wins though.

14,000 times!:faint: This is why I don't really watch AI. They need to put a cap on the votes like DWTS does.

I know I couldn't believe someone could vote that many times (especially since I think the lines are only open a few hours). He said he wants to vote around 50,000 times!

Donna, Madison was very excited with your breakfast this morning. She wanted me to make it.

It's been awhile since I have caught up with everyone, so......

Pozey.....Congrats on the new job!:cheer2:

Bonnie....It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! It is nice to put faces with screen names. I love the monkey.:)

Linda....I started to read that thread yesterday, but I was having a blond moment myself. I saw the pictures in the sig, but couldn't figure out what that had to do with Tom Sawyer.

It was only when I went back to read it I realized the guy in the sig was named Sawyer. DUH!!! Good news about Kenny's dad not getting to see him as much.:cheer2: Good luck with Mike and his son. You guys sure have had your fill of court stuff. Good luck with the DVC!:yay:

Lizziesmom....I don't think I have seen The firehouse Dog advertised. I think we are going to see Meet the Robinson's on Friday. I can't start on anymore Stephanie Plum books until I finish book 2 and 3. I'm still in the middle of both.:rolleyes1

Yolanda....I'm so glad the house sale is on again. One less thing for you to worry about. I remember when DH started his commuting before we actually moved, it was a little tough. Luckily his work fly him back and forth. Will he be home on weekends? I hope everything goes smoothly for you.:)

AI.....I can't watch it anymore. Sanjaya's performance last night.:scared1: :sad2: Paaaleeeeze!:headache: How will he feel knowing he is the reason AI does not come back next year. Did you see Ryan's dig at him last night, saying how he has managed to slip under the radar?:happytv:

I went to take Madison to school this morning and momma bird and daddy bird are back on my porch. I have a fake spiral tree in a pot with lights on my porch, the last of the decorations that still need to be put away (It doesn't really look all that christmasy).:rolleyes1 Well guess where they are building the new nest. I guess at least they are building in a tree even though it is not real.

:lmao:

I had to call the contractor again this morning. With the cold and wind that is blowing today I checked Madison's room and they still did not fix the problem. There is still cold air pouring through her wall.

Hi 2x, DznyFan, Ashley, Nicole, Amber, Lin, Michele, YM, April (We miss you!), Sherri (our Birthday is coming up) Did I forget anyone?

Ooooooh Donna, those pancakes look heavenly. Gotta love IHOP - according to Lyzzie it's the best restaurant in the world!

Allears has a few pictures of the Flower and Garden Festival. I am so excited to see it. :yay: I have about 7GB of memory so I plan of taking MANY pictures.

They're calling for storms :umbrella: today and then cold weather. Why can't we just have warm, breezy sunny days year round?

I found out when I lived in FL that when you have sunny hot days all year, you really don't appreciate them. I'm not a huge fan of the cold winter days (although I do love to look at the snow from the comfort and safety of my heated house) but they sure make those nice warm days seem sooooo much nicer. :thumbsup2 (thumb)

I was at WDW for the F&G festival last year -- but it was a whirlwind trip WITH the ex & his parents (Lyzzie's family) so I didn't take many pictures or even get to stop & enjoy the scenery much. I will have to pay more attention this time around!

I haven't watched AI yet -- will have to watch it tonite and then the results so it doesn't get spoiled for me! At least I can skip the commercials (and the bad performances!)

but... there's actually a website trying to do that, it turns out, not necessarily Stern himself.
Interesting article though....

That website has actually been around for a few years now. Does anyone remember Kevin Covais from last year? The kid made Sanjaya look like a rock star, and he stuck around way longer than necessary too. It happens every year, it gives the show some publicity and some drama/suspense. Will he stay or will he go now? One thing is certain: he won't win, no matter how many undeserved votes he gets.

Pozey.....Congrats on the new job!:cheer2:
Thank you. It is "officially" "official" now. I went over at lunch and signed the offer letter and officially accepted the offer. :cool1:

I don't start until April 23rd though.

:cool1: CONGRATS pozey!!!:woohoo:  :yay: I bet you're so excited. I wouldn't be able to contain myself!!!:cheer2: I'm so happy for you!!!

Thank you. I am excited. I went by their office at lunch to sign the offer letter. Most of the office was out to lunch, but there were a couple of ladies there. They are very nice and very friendly. I will share an office with another guy, but it will be much, much better than this horrid cube I am in now.

Yeah...we've had WAY too much court b.s. but that should be over now that he's divorced from his attorney wife now:woohoo: no more of her constant interfering!!! I told Mike that someone might be selling theirs ;):woohoo: but it depends on how several thing go... his sons court, VA... school... but we'll see. Good luck w/the contractor:guilty: I hope poor Madison isn't freezing due to them!!!

Plus, it will cut at least 10 minutes off my commute each way.

The only negative so far is that they want me to "try" to work 8 - 5. I am used to working either 7 - 4 or 7:30 - 4:30. But they told me that I could be flexible most of the time.

Oh, I can imagine!!!::yes:: it sounds like you'll be much happier there!!party: sharing an office is much better than a cubicle!!! And a raise and vacation on top of all that!!! I'm so excited for you!! I'm sure your dw is pretty excited too!

I'd love to cut 10 minutes off my commute!!I work 8-5 but my boss isn't known for being very flexible:rolleyes: Sounds like they are, considering they start by saying to "try"!!!

That is excellent news pozey!! You must be so excited - I'm excited for you!

I'm sure you'll get used to the schedule pretty quickly. There are so many pluses, this one little thing might be inconvenient for a while but I think everything else heavily outweighs it. At least it's still the same number of hours each day. Will you still have time for all the kids' activities? I have worked 8-5 for years and now I'm 8-4:30, that extra 1/2 hour seems like a lot of time. Lets hope the job turns out to be as good as it seems!!

I don't know what's going on with me, but I am SO tired today. And on top of that, I started getting heartburn last night and it has continued all night and I'm still waiting for it to subside. This is weird, because I never had heartburn before except in the last months of pregnancy -- and NO that's not possible right now!! So between the nausea and the exhaustion I'm feeling pretty yucky. Just needed to vent, thanks for reading. I sure hope tomorrow gets better! It has to, because all week I've been thinking each day is Thursday, so tomorrow is bound to be a good day, right?

On a happier note, I cashed out my Sunshine Rewards a week or two ago and my $60 in Disney Dollars came today! I don't know if I told you guys this, but they "lost" my last cashout, it was sent to my old address and I'm still waiting for an answer as to whether they can see if it was ever used -- I'm thinking it was probably assumed to be junk mail and thrown out. I could really use that extra $50 but they won't answer me, it's been over three months!!
