DeVine at AK...I was so fascinated with her. This was a first see for me and I couldn't tear myself away!

Good Morning ALL!!!

I see you guys have been busy

Lesa...Love the poster!! How's the toe? (yuck)

YM...Belated Happy Birthday to your DS:cool1:

April...belated Happy Birthday to your mom:banana:

Lyzziesmom...sorry about the job situation...hopefully it will all work out

Karen... good luck with the snow day...I could really use one today. I think we are supposed to have a lot of snow today. Of course I have to be somewhere right after school. I have never been there before so wish me luck. I was hoping Blake could come with me but he is flying to Memphis today.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!!:yay:

Oh I forgot to tell you...guess what was in my mail yesterday??

A jury summons:headache:

I have to be there at 9 on Friday 3-9 for them to tell me if they will need me the following week. Why can't I just call them?

It has been 17 years since I have done this.

Good morning, Crew!! It's raining outside this morning......it's above freezing (38 degrees) so I guess it isn't icy out yet. Grab your hot drink and let's have some chocolate muffins for breakfast!!

ucbasketchocolatemuffins.jpg

I hope everyone has a Totally Awesome Tuesday!!! :cool1: :dance3:

YourMajesty:: Your picture of Devine is awesome!!! Mine was taken from farther away and had other people are in it. Seeing her was a first for me too. She moves so gracefully.

lyzziesmom:: Great news that you got your new dining room set!!!:woohoo:

Michele:: Take care driving out by yourself this evening. Hope the snow misses you. Nathan would LOVE to get a big snow. I have pics of him out playing in the inch we got before I left for Florida. He still has a snowball in the freezer.
I haven't had to do jury duty in years....probably about 22 years or so. Yeech!!!

I forgot to tell you all that yesterday morning when I went to finish drying a load of towels from the night before, the dryer wouldn't work. No power...nothing. Had to call the Maytag Repairman. He fixed some sort of thermal fuse or something and now it's supposed to be good a new. It cost just under $100, but a lot cheaper than a new dryer!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Ashley, I hope Jeremiah's interview goes well. As for movies to rent, have you seen the Illusionist? I really liked that.

Lyzziesmom, congrats on getting new furniture!

Michele, jury duty, yuck!

Donna, I have the worst luck with washers and dryers. I'm glad you were able to have it fixed.

It's snowing here. It doesn't look like anyone is coming into work. I should have stayed home. We may not even be open tomorrow (I'm hoping). No weather station can agree on what is going to happen, snow, sleet, ice.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Four inches of snow overnight here - blecch. Snow day for LYzzie, so Mom is on her way over to watch the kids here and save me some treacherous driving. I'm hoping for a not-too-chaotic day at work, what with the HR person gone, but I don't think that'll happen. The rest of the Admin team lives on the other side of KC and they always have "car trouble" on snowy days.

Donna - Thank you for the chocolate muffins!

OHHHH, and one more thing. I didn't have a TurtleKrawl but one night (when it was REALLY cold) I think it was Tuesday night Steven and I made our way down to the Gurgling Suitcase for "hot" drinks w/ a little Kahlua and Bailey's ;) and I saw DznyFans license plate. Very cool!! I didn't have my camera or I would have taken a picture.
Awwww..... cool! - Thanks! Lucky for you - getting to stay a few extra days! :thumbsup2

OH! P.S. Jeremiah & I decided to join Netflix after that incident with Hollywood Video...(I think I posted about that?) Does anybody have any movies to recommend?? :teeth: Since it is unlimited rentals every month! If anybody wants to join- let me know and I think I have emails to send for a free 2 week trial! Our plan is $17.99/month but there are plans for as low as $5.99. It is worth it for us, because we are known to rack up alot of late fees. :rolleyes1
I think you'll love it - I've used it on/off for the past 3 years.

Lyzziesmom - yay for a great furniture deal! But not for snow. I think we dodged the bullet this time.

YM - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! to your youngest! :cool1:

Ashley - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! to mom!

Lesa - I read about your toe.... yuk! Hope its feeling better soon.

Michele - Jury duty?? No fun. Good luck with that!

Good Morning everyone----

It is raining out right now, but within an hour is supposed to turn icy and snowy. Like Amber said, our weatherpeople can't decide when or where who is going to get what. All the schools have made the decision to close already. I am supposed to have a treatment today before work, but I think I may postpone it to later on this week. My treatment for yesterday was cancelled because the doctor was sick, so I haven't had my last two. What's a girl to do??:confused3 We'll see about work, but the owner usually doesn't close unless it's really bad, even though clients don't show up (except for those who live 2 minutes away and decide that we should be there no matter what------keep in mind that I live 30 minutes away). My mom works for a dentist and he has already called her and told her not to come in. Lucky. I wish it were that easy, rather than sit here and wait for the snow to arrive------like watching water boil.(or freeze, which I'm doing already)

Wow, was that a ramble, or what?? All about a snowflake.;)

Okay, moving on-----

Lesa---WOW!!! Wonderful pictures!! You have a good eye!! My favorite statue in MK is the Cinderella fountain----I love how you captured it with just the shadow outline!! Beautiful!! Great perspective of the castle (both with and without the fireworks), too!!
Where were the skeleton pics taken?? My guess is inside POTC waiting area?? You didn't even let me put makeup on!!:lmao:
I forgot about you and Michele getting a private viewing of Country Bears.:yay:
OMG---the poster of Brandon is priceless!!!! TOO FUNNY!!:lmao: :lmao:

Great job Madison did on her 100 day project!!!!! I see Disney runs in the family!!

Donna---thanks for the chocolate muffins!! I bought the makings for cinammon toast since Lesa keeps mentioning it------I can't tell you the last time I had this. Plus, some hot chocolate----I'm set.
Too bad about your dryer, but like you said, at least you didn't have to get a new one.
Are you expecting bad weather today??
I have a pic of everyone (I think) with Brandon as well as one with Lyzziesmom, April and YM.(I think---I'll have to look at it)

Lyzziesmom---I got PEZ valentines at Target yesterday for my niece and nephew. It reminded me of Emma.:goodvibes
I shopped at DTD on Tuesday rather that go to any parks. Then I had dinner at Kona. The day went so quickly (as did the entire trip).
Congrats on your dining room set purchase. Great deal!! I love when new furniture is in the house (which has not been in a looooong time)-----you just keep looking at it, admiring how nice it looks.
Good luck with the work drama. Very odd.

Pozey---I'm sorry you can't see some of the photos at work. They are just messing with everything, aren't they??
I am going to try to post some pics someday soon.:rolleyes1 I am so disappointed with my fireworks shots, though. My camera has a fireworks mode but it seems to focus in on the actual lighting of the fireworks so the background, ie. the Castle, is blurry. Hmmm.
How are the kiddies??

Karen---There have been Wine and Chocolate Tasting Festivals here in the past, but I have never been able to attend. Glad you had a good time at yours. It sounds heavenly!!!!
Did you get the snow??

April----that was so sweet of you to send the crew who couldn't attend this year a postcard!!! You think of everything, girl!!
I wish we could have all gone to the Gurgling Suitcase-----time just flew!!!

Ashley---I'm sure your mom will understand about the gift. Did she have a good birthday?? It was so good to meet her and that she was able to spend some time with you.
I don't blame you for giving up on Hollywood video and joining Netflix. I know alot of people who are really happy with the service.
Did Jeremiah find out anymore about his interview?? P&PD still coming your way-----I know moving back to Florida is what you really would love.

YM---the Star Wars cupcakes would be simple to do!!:cutie:
Great pics of DiVine!!! I still need to work with mine to post. Someday is will get to it.

Michele---good luck in going where you need to be after school. Be careful.
Jury duty----yuck!!! I know some people who LOVE it!!

Hi DznyFan, Amber, Sherri, Yolanda, Sewer, Angela, and anyone else I have missed. I feel like I haven't been here to catch up the last couple of days, so if I apologize if I've missed anything.

"See" everyone a bit later-----maybe I'll have a snow day. Yeah, right.

Good morning everyone!

Lyzziesmom-- Yeah on the dinning room find! I love it when that happens. Good luck with work and I hope verything settles down soon!

Happy (late) birthday to YM DS and Ashley's mom! :cool1:

Good luck Jeremiah!

We had a freezing drizzle last night and this morning it's foggy and snowing. But it could be worse-- I could live in that place in NY where they have something like over 8 feet:scared1: of snow. YUCK!!!!!!!

Well, need to go feed my child. I'll try to pop back in later!

I want to take a moment to say hello to

MAUREEN!!!!!!

Thanks for all of your support and come by and visit if you wish.

I hope everyone has a Totally Awesome Tuesday!!! :cool1: :dance3:

Yum Donnna...those look great. I also think I was rude and did not thank you for the blueberry muffins and the french toast so...THANKS

Glad your dryer is fixed. I have tons of laundry piling up. No excuse not to do it.:laundy:

Michele....good luck with your "new task"....please report back so we know you are safe and sound.:) Eek...jury summons. I don't want to say this very loud but I've never been called.:scared:

Yolanda...those darn kids have to be fed everyday...it's such a hassle.

Amber be safe driving around in all the bad weather. My memory might be off but I hope you are the one that lives 2 mintues from work?

2xcited...wow...maybe I should turn on the weather channel to see what all the fuss is over. They must be pretty sure things are going to get nasty if everyone is shutting down. Enjoy you cocoa and cinnamon toast.:surfweb:

Good morning DznyFan, Nicole, and Lyzziemom. :cheer2:

Yes, that's me. Mike actually drove me to work (usually does). I'm hoping to leave early.

Happy Belated Birthday to Ashley’s mom!

Happy Belated Birthday to YourMajesty’s son!

Hope both had a WONDERFUL day!!

Well, I went to Macy’s yesterday at lunch. They have a perfume called “Princess” that I wanted to get DW for Valentine’s Day. While I was there, I decided to look for some new shoes. I needed some new black shoes because my old ones were literally falling apart.

So, I see a pair of Rockport dress shoes on sale for $59. They are nice. Then I see a different pair of Rockports on the clearance rack. They are on clearance for $66. I figure I might as well get those because they are a little nicer and only 7 bucks more.

I take them up to the counter to pay, and the cashier says “Your total is $37.92.” Woo Hoo! They were half price off the clearance price!!

I was called for jury duty about a year ago. It was my first – and only – time to be called.

I found the whole process fascinating. I was actually selected to sit on the jury. We went through 4 days of testimony. Then, on the 5th day, the judge comes in and says he has an announcement……he had to dismiss himself from the trial because his wife once worked for the same company as the person who filed the lawsuit.

I was hoping we would get to make a decision on the case.

How are the kiddies??
Hi 2x2s!! :wave2:
I guess I will have to log on tonight and check you everyone’s pictures!!

The kiddies are good. Colton told me yesterday he was going to ask Kayla to be his “girlfriend” tomorrow (Valentine’s Day). So, we’ll see how that goes. He bought her a Valentine’s card yesterday he is going to give to her.
