Ym... I have the same problem...I have a Canon that's from 04 or so, and it doesn't have a very good zoom either. It's a power shot G2... some pix are really good...some aren't... I think the lighting has a lot to do w/it... pozey can help us out

It seemed to me like Tulsa proper didn't get as much ice as we got where we're at.

Linda: that boy sounds like he is just grasping at straws looking for an easy way to get money without having to actually EARN it. I wouldn't worry about it, he may threaten to sue but he'd be hard pressed to find a lawyer to take that case, and it would just cost him a ton of money in the end. Dumb*ss!!

Well my plumbing is fixed!! Apparently there was some sort of odd u-shaped joint down in the crawlspace that was getting backed up. They cleared it out and charged us $467!! But, I can go home again, yay!!! Now if only the cable can get fixed tonight, I'll really be a happy girl.

pozey: wow that's a lot of white! And it's all ice, right? That's pretty much how it looks here too, it's all ice with a light dusting of snow on top, but most of that melted already.

YM & Linda: I was having some of the same issues with my old camera. It was a good little camera when it was new, but a lot of pictures would come out fuzzy, especially in poor lighting. The new one isn't perfect (I don't think any of them are) and I'm sure a lot of it is user error, but it's amazing how much better most of my pictures look. I can't wait to use it at WDW!!

I don't think they did either.

I keep hearing how the areas to the south and east of Tulsa got hit the hardest. LOTS and LOTS of freezing rain and ice. From McAlister up through Muskogee up to the Grand Lake area.

I'm so glad your plumbing is fixed SO sorry it will cost $467 !!!! That is like...a 10 day premium ticket to WDW!!! but it'll be fixed and you don't have to shower at your parents house, and sleep in a hard bed

Oh..I have to tell you guys a funny story... last night Mike threw some steaks on the grill. He was fixing baked potatoes and steamed vegetables w/cheese. Well, he starts the vegetables and opens the cheese. He stirs it in and tells me that this doesn't look like cheese... for me to taste it...I start laughing hysterically.... it was mashed sweet potatoes it was horrible...and got thrown away! It was so funny!!!


I'm about ready to do a dance guys...I've gotten child support TWO weeks in a row. Guess he figures he better start paying since we go to court next month

Linda, you lucky girl! I haven't gotten child support for Emma since the first week of November... and even that I had only started getting in I think May, and it was not even the full amount. What a loser.

is he doing like my x and jumping from one company to another to avoid paying? That sucks! I think now he'll catch up and stay current...but we'll see what the judge says too. Here if you're one month behind, they take your tax return, after so long they'll take his drivers license etc.... they can take up to like 75% of your check too I would go after him if you can! You need that for Emma! These dead beats just make me angry!

Linda: yep, he goes from job to job every few months, and as soon as they catch up with him he finds some reason to quit. He works as a waiter/bartender, so a lot of his jobs he gets paid off the books, and what IS on the books is very little ($2.35/hour, the rest is take-home tips they can't touch). He doesn't do his taxes so I can't get any of his tax return. He drives without a license, already had that revoked for DUI. There is a warrant out for his arrest for not showing up at the last child support hearing. He bounces around living with friends and relatives so there is no address on record for him, and he doesn't own any property so he's hard to find. It amazes me how he can fall through the cracks of the system for so long. I keep myself sane by telling myself, he will get what he deserves eventually.

YM: This may be a stupid suggestion, but have you tried cleaning your camera's lens? I used to get a lot of cloudy pictures like that, especially in bright light, and it turned out there was a greasy smudge on the lens. Oops!

lyzziesmom beat me to it. That picture looks like the lens might be a little foggy or dirty.

I had a little bit of a problem at Disney World with humidity fogging up the lens when I would take the cap off of it.

You might take it to a camera shop and see if they could clean it. You need a really soft cloth to clean the lens with so that you don't scratch it.

Do you have photos that you have taken at home that appear the same way? If they are mostly Disney pics that look like that, I might presume humidity and fogginess.

Post any others and I'll take a look.

Oh my God, Linda and Lyzziesmom! What a couple of jerks you guys have to deal with! I'm so sorry to see anybody go through that with ex's and children. The irresponsibility, the evasion by changing jobs - it's unbelievable to me. Sorry that the two of you have to deal with it - two of the nicest people I've never met getting shafted. It's just not right. (at least Linda you're getting some) money, that is.
