Good morning Pozey...hey we are famous. How often does the weather channel camp out in Tulsa? Hope the stuff we get tonight is just sleet. I feel so lucky that we've had more sleet than ice. Hey...did you see the forecast? It's not supposed to be above feezing until Thursday?

I wonder how cold it is in Denver..Yolanda...are you below zero again?

Hi YM!! No, I haven't been watching the Weather Channel. I've been watching Channel 2.

And I have to tell you about the cute little reporter on Channel 2. They have her outside reporting on how slick the roads are and such. Anyway, they have a shot of her showing how hard the ice is and how slippery everything is and how everyone should dress appropriately......and she is wearing boots with about 4 inch SPIKED HEELS!!!! Yeah......those look safe to walk in.

Hi YM!! No, I haven't been watching the Weather Channel. I've been watching Channel 2.

And I have to tell you about the cute little reporter on Channel 2. They have her outside reporting on how slick the roads are and such. Anyway, they have a shot of her showing how hard the ice is and how slippery everything is and how everyone should dress appropriately......and she is wearing boots with about 4 inch SPIKED HEELS!!!! Yeah......those look safe to walk in.

That cute little reporter might have to be taken to the hospital with a broken buttbone of she's not careful!! I'll bet she looks fashionable though.

Doesn't seem to be much going on this morning weather wise. It's 30 degrees out, but I don't see any ice from where I am. (Can't really see the road from here.)

DH got a call last night from Nathan's coach. Coach had an emergency call to be in Lexington, Ky. this weekend and asked DH if he would sub for him at the game today!!! This will be right up DH's alley, but I'm going to be a bit nervous. Wish us luck!!!

Be careful out this weekend whether it's because of the snow, ice or a trip to.....THE WALMART!!!! ..........................

Donna...good luck at the basketball game...that would make me nervous too! Hope I don't have to go to Walmart but I would love a pizza a little later.

Pozey....is that the reporter with the big furr hood? I was watching 2 for a while...she should loose some pay for wearing those boot! I've been watchng 8....they have a phone line set up if you need to report anything. Are you starting to get some freezing rain instead of sleet? They say south Tulsa is more at risk for the freezing rain.

We're still not getting very much of anything here yet. Looks like it might be sleeting slightly outside.

Morning all! I was wiped out last night and went to bed about when the kids did. I think it's due to cutting back on the meds, I just don't have any energy. Folks are coming over today to snake out the drains as a last ditch effort before calling in a plumber. I'm also getting horrible reception on my tv, I thought it was the cable box but then I went to watch in my room last night (no box in there) and that tv look awful too. The tv's are snowier than outside! Also yesterday the house alarm went whacko. I don't have the thing turned on, but it came with the house and apparently is still hooked up, just not turned on. Anyway, it has begun beeping loudly for a second every few seconds. It does this every four hours. So I didn't get much sleep last night. The house came with documentation and instructions for the alarm system, but the folder has been misplaced and my dad screamed at me about that yesterday, making me really mad. I really don't even want to see him today, but I need to be able to use my sink and dishwasher. Ugh - I love this house but I feel like it's falling apart around me.

Speaking of Disney......I had a show TiVo'd from a few weeks ago that we watched last night. It was from the History Channel called Modern Marvels. And it was all about the building of Walt Disney World. If you have never seen it, it is one of the best shows about Disney I've ever seen. It was great.
