You'll be hanging out with me in 20 days!!! I'll not be arriving in Orlando until 5:30pm on Friday!!! I'll see you at Le Cellier, if not before!!! Pleased to meet you...and I loved the look on your face when you met the Evil Queen at the MNSSHP!!! Priceless!!!!!

I was telling Blake what errands we needed to run today. When I got to Walmart he asked 'why?' I never go there. When I explained about the sweater he laughed himself silly. He couldn't catch his breath he was laughing so hard.

Yes lyzziesmom April told me about the sweaters. I guess I will have to mozey on down to the local Wal-mart and see what I can find.

Donna, the MNSSHP was a blast. Meeting the Evil Queen while dressed up as Snow White was definitely the highlight of my trip. April asked me if I was going to dress up as Snow White for the P&P party but lets say that it’s a little strange to have children walking up to you to have their picture taken with “Snow White”. I was nervous that a man in a three piece business suit with an ear bud and dark sunglasses was going to walk up to me and say, “Ma’am I ‘m going to need you to come with me quickly and quietly without a fuss”. So no, Snow White will take a rest this trip and I will just wear my regular tiara and maybe a special t-shirt or something.

Just checking in for a minute... I might be gone for a while because ALL the drains in the house are now plugged. Apparently the snake pushed some kind of clog farther in, and now nothing works. We are going to camp out at my parents' house for a couple days. I'm none too happy about this development.

I'm laughing so hard about all the WalMart sweaters! I'm wearing mine today - it's darn cold in the house!

I'll try to check in again later but there's only the one computer at my parents' house and I don't know how much I'll get to use it.

Just checking in for a minute... I might be gone for a while because ALL the drains in the house are now plugged. Apparently the snake pushed some kind of clog farther in, and now nothing works. We are going to camp out at my parents' house for a couple days. I'm none too happy about this development.

SO SORRY to hear about your plumbing problems. Hope you get them resolved soon.

We are going to brave the elements and go out here in a little while. Maybe go to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat.

And we need to go to the mall - Yankee Candle - to get some of the candles that are on sale.

Thanks Nicole...we are on the lucky end so far. Seems like we are supposed to have one more bad wave later tonight? There are some towns in Okla without power due to the ice and I see many in Springfield MO and St Louis are without power. I wonder is 2xcited is doing ok...she hasn't checked in today.

lyzziesmom....darn...I hate being ousted from the house. That was one fear for weekend. That's why I was so excited DH could get us some firewood. We can get out den really warm that way! Hope you survive...does you dad go to bed early? My dad gets on our computer the minute he walks in the door...usually to play a card game.

Happy grading...we got our report cards last Friday....they were good!

I'm sure the original OP knows how long the thread is because I see her posting on other threads...however, not this one.

Pozey...how was the trip to the mall. Would be fun if we lived a little closer. Now's the time to get out...could be worse tomorrow. Thanks for spelling out the wings place so I didn't have to ask about BBW again.... Hope you enjoyed. We did call in for some pizza today...Dh went and picked it up.

Hi everyone! I've just got a minute - the folks stepped out to run to Sam's Club and Lyzzie is at her friend's house for the afternoon, so it's just me and Emma here for a little while. My cat (who lives at my mom's house) is intently watching me type - she usually hides unless someone is on the computer, for some reason she loves the computer. It's nice, I miss having a cat in the house. I hope we can get a hold of the plumber soon, because I really don't want to have to sleep here tonight, there are not enough beds and I will have to either share a twin with Lyzzie or she will have to sleep on the floor. At least the ice storm hasn't been too terribly bad - the big kids were out sledding earlier and they were really zipping down the driveway since it's all ice!

I think I'm either getting sick or having a reaction from switching my pain meds - the whole side of my face hurts.

I'd better go see what Emma's up to... she is too quiet.

Lyzziesmom....I hope you get your plumbing problems worked out soon. It would stink to have to camp out at someone else's house. My parents thought they might have to camp out here while some of their plumbing problems got worked out but luckily it didn't take long to fix (once they started) and it didn't rip up the floor as much as they thought. I don't know if I hope you aren't getting sick, because that would mean a reaction to your pain meds and that might be bad. Or if I hope you are sick and will be all better by the time we go??? I don't even understand what I just typed, never mind. I hope you feel better

Well we just got back from Walmart...guess what I got Yep, we are all going to look sooo cute Blake just keeps laughing. Lesa, they had more, do you want me to pick you up one too??

We are going out for Briana's birthday dinner tonight. Better late than never, Blake just ran Matt's buddy home (he spent the night again ) but now Briana has a friend over. He is a guy she went to school with and he had a big crush on her. I was the mom in the background saying go for it, he's cute. But she would always say that she didn't LIKE him like him and didn't want to ruin their friendship. Which would have made sense except since she felt weird around him, she stopped talking to him Well he recently started calling again, and now they are in the living room together. This time I am staying out of it.

He's laughing himself silly?? Hunh....that's why we're leaving the hubbys home, right?
So happy you found your sweater!!! Our Walmart was getting low on them, but there were tons of Eeyore.
I'll cross my fingers that Briana sees the light on the relationship with her "friend".

Speaking of sweaters....if someone just needs a large and can find an x-large, I would trade them. DH got me the large and I really need the bigger size if I could find it. Just thought I'd ask.

Nathan's team actually did pretty well today!!! We were afraid only 4 were going to show up, but at the last minute 2 more came straggling in. The game was started with 4 players on each team. Surprisingly, four worked out really well for our team!! We scored two baskets at that time and one of them was made by Nathan!!!


lyzziesmom:: I hope you get the plumbing problems fixed soon. Once they're taken care of (perhaps by a professional plumber) I'm sure you'll be back to loving your new house!!!

Hey Hiddey Ho!

Just wanted to pop in and say "Hi"

Hey, Sher! Glad you stopped by.

It's been so nice here today (the weather report said 68) that I've had all my windows open airing out the house and I've been a cleaning

away and doing laundry.

Then, I get this call from my sister saying she can't find "The Sweater".

So, I halted all cleaning (not that I minded mind you) and ran up to my Wal Mart where they had 1 left and luckily it was in her size!! That was a close call.

Anyway, now I've got to get ready for mass. I like how this parish has a late Saturday evening mass at 7pm. This way I can get stuff done, like cleaning

and laundry

and quick trips to WalMart

and still be finished in time for church.

I'm going to do my bestest to get caught up when I get home this evening.

To all of you in the ice/snow storms, PLEASE be safe and stay warm!! I was thinking of you today when I had my short sleeves and capris on. But, seriously please be safe.

Lyzziesmom, hope you can get a hold of that plummer soon! Prayers and Pixie Dust for you!
