For the recipes why don't we just include copies in our Christmas Cards to each other for anyone that wants to participate? Keagansmom, did you get in on the card exchange? If not I'm sure we can add you! Ashley was handling the addresses!!!

Dznyfan, Moliere cracks me up. I love Invalid, its one of my favorites. We did Tartuffe my senior year of college and let me tell you that I am now an expert at making plywood look like marble! Tell Erin to break a leg! I forget, is she a junior or a senior this year? What schools is she looking at?

Pozey, thats too bad about needing to be in two places at once! Hopefully it doesn't happen too often.

Linda, I have the recipe for the chocolate souffle they serve at Palo. Anytime I feel a craving I whip one up!

Donna, thanks for breakfast!

Well, I have today to catch up on Heros, get music for a song I am singing in my sisters wedding and find a printer to print invites to her shower...I should have gotten started about 4 hours ago!!!!

Sophie ate my bread for the Thanksgiving stuffing....... :teeth:

Gotta run...everyone have a great Thanksgiving!!!!!!

I'll catch back up on Thursday.

Bad Sophie! Everyone's pups are misbehaving this week, what's up with that?? Although I did have to laugh out loud at Gracie slapping her side up against the newly painted wall. My mom's old house had green catprints going up the stairs from the laundry room - my idiot cat fell off the washer, into the paint tray!!

Ashley, good to hear Gramps got home safely & didn't have to work all night. He must have a lot of energy! I can't help you with turkey advice, I always manage to get invited to someone else's house. The one year when I didn't go anywhere, it was just me & Lyzzie and all she eats is the salad & mashed potatoes, so I just got some sliced turkey from the supermarket's deli counter. I had them slice it thick and it was just as good, but a lot easier - with less leftovers to get tired of!!

That turkey thread was funny! I saw the title and expected it to be something completely different.

I was cleaning out the desk drawers here at work today and found some very odd things, among them was the receiver for a baby monitor! Nobody seems to know who it belonged to, so I tossed it. I need to make room for my own junk!

2x, sorry to hear your Dr. visit didn't go very well. That's always disappointing. I certainly hope you get your treatments approved quickly, and that they help. I don't understand why insurance companies drag their feet on things like this - don't they realize there are sick people who need treatment NOW?!? I had a temp job in an insurance co. mailroom... the amount of paperwork that went through that place was overwhelming. The file room alone was as big as my house!!

pozey, at least your DW will be able to tape the play so you can see it over & over again. My mom is currently looking for the tape of my first play, when I was Cinderella back in 1988. I'm glad DBF is not coming for Thanksgiving, because I'm sure she'd love have a viewing of the tape. It's quite embarassing.

Did I mention that my grandparents are coming into town for Thanksgiving? Mom just told me yesterday. They are coming for Xmas too, it'll be so nice!! :goodvibes I'll have to remember to take pictures, I have no pictures of my grandma with Emma!! We were at their house last year around this time and I was just looking at the pics yesterday, my how the kids have grown! And unfortunately so have I.

I'd better get back to work. This time of year is always so slow in any business (except retail!). I went to WalMart at lunchtime today to get diapers and a compact mirror, left with $100 worth of stuff, and no mirror! Completely forgot!! I could tell the holiday crowds were starting, people were just a tad crazier than usual. I have totally caught the holiday fever, I want to buy sparkly things and put them all over my house!!

Hi to everyone else, I will catch up more later.

I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

I'll be in a wee little town down at a lake without a phone or a computer. What I WILL have is: at TV, a DVD player, books, music, a stove, lots of hot chocolate and a bottle of peppermint schnapps to put in the hot chocolate.

Here's to all my cliqueless friends having a wonderful holiday! MWAH!

Have a wonderful and very happy Thanksgiving everybody!! Sophie...no more stealing food ;) she looks so hugable though :cloud9: !!

lyzziesmom.... shopping...no, must save for Feb :teeth:

Lin.... that souffle is the ultimate isn't it :cloud9: I'll have to find that recipe!! we loved it!!

To all our Cliquless friends going out of town, Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Good evening everyone! Wow, there is so much happening this week. What with Thanksgiving, holiday traveling and 2 of our Cliqueless Crew members heading to WDW, I can hardly keep up with you all!!! :teeth:

2x2s:: I'm sorry your Doctor's appointment was disappointing. Hopefully by next week the insurance with approve your additional treatments.
Salmon for breakfast!!! Yecko!!! I can tolerate it broiled/grilled, but Salmon is not exactly my favorite food.

YourMajesty:: I am sure you are probably on your way to the BlueGrass state by now!!! Have a safe trip and hope you enjoy the holiday with your brother!! Don't forget to honk and wave as you pass by!! :drive: :wave2:
Looks like Sophie enjoyed the bread!!! She is a beautiful dog,BTW.

pozey:: That's too bad that you are going to miss Colton's play. I'm sure your DW will do an excellent job of taping it. At least you'll be able to see the play that way. :goodvibes

lyzziesmom:: How cool that your grandparents are going to be able to spend Thanksgiving with you!!

Donna...ahhh thanks for the Tonga Toast...ok, so when are the plans for Kona breakfast? I've never been there yet. Sounds very tasty!!! Can you please refresh my memory of our itinerary for Feb...
Linda, I don't think we have made a decision about when to eat at Kona. When are you, Mike and Kenny leaving on Sunday? We could do Kona either Sat. morning (not too early) or Sunday, depending on when you leave. What do you think? Any thoughts?

Well, I guess Nathan wants to watch Ice Age II, The Meltdown. Has anyone seen this? See ya' all later. :wave2:

You'll have to let me know how Ice Age meltdown is. Its in my car. I ran to wal-mart today at lunch to grab it. I think Kenny will like it.

I'm not sure how early all of you get up... but we could go Sat. morning or Sunday morning... Or if you wanted to go after we leave, that's no biggie either... Sat. MGM has the emh opening at 8 so not sure what the plan is there... Sunday no parks open til 9...we'll probably plan on leaving between 9-10... the port opens at 10:30...and I'm going to try to upgrade to a verandah at the port. It's about an hour drive...

My boss is leaving for wdw thurs... it's killing me... I hate to wish the holidays away....but I can't wait for Feb :Pinkbounc

I was just thinking today that after Christmas it will only be a little over a month before the trip!!! I think the time will go fast!!
Maybe the ones on the dining plan can decide where to eat, I'm always ready for food!!! :thumbsup2
Did you buy IceAge II for Kenny for Christmas?

Linda, thanks for the "no shopping" pep talk!! You're right, I DO have to save for the trip. I'd better check & see when my final payment is due, I forgot!! (Just checked, it's Dec. 19th so I have 2 1/2 paychecks to squeeze the payments out of.)

I was thinking about the trip, and I always like to try to do new things every time. Have any of you been to the Adventurer's Club? I've always wanted to try it, but it's not really something I've been able to do in the past. I always have the kids and either my parents (they would hate it) or my ex and ex-in-laws (he is an alcoholic and his parents are, well... let's just say not fun). Perhaps that would be a fun idea to do one evening, especially if I decide to leave Emma with my parents. Or the comedy club at Pleasure Island (I can't think of the name right now) is supposed to be fun too. Any takers??

Today I was talking to Emma, can't remember what I was saying but I called her "little one" as I often do. She looked right at me and said, "My name Emma Rose" very seriously. That kid cracks me up!

Amber, almost there!! You will have so much fun. Are you ready yet?

Donna, love the mooing turkeys! Too cute.

2x, salmon for breakfast? Eeeeeeewwwwww! Bleccch! No way Jose! (I'm not fond of it for any other meal either, actually.)

I think it will fly too. Thank goodness :woohoo: the ddp idea sounds good to me. We'll be happy as can be just being there :cloud9:

I did buy IceAge II thinking it would be good for Kennys stocking... and I have to wait til Dec 12th for Mikes...he wants the Taylor Hicks cd :rolleyes1

What are friends for;) We have to make sure you'll be able to make it!!!

I have to admit... I don't know what the Adventurers club is :rolleyes1 but I'll check...and the comedy club sounds awesome...but it's probably adult only :confused3 ... I'll check them out and see what I can find...

It might have to wait til morning...for some reason...my eyelids are getting real heavy...last night I fell asleep on the couch at 8:30  and I even let Kenny stay up late to watch Charlie Browns Thanksgiving...

lyzziesmom:: DH and I went to the Adventurer's Club many years ago before Nathan was born!!! It was pretty funny back then. We wanted to go to the Comedy Club, but the lines were always too long.

Good night , Linda. :cloud9:

We went out to eat at Cheeseburger In Paradise for dinner tonight. I ordered the Cheeseburger In Paradise drink (layers of parrot bay rum pina colada, rum runner, margarita and strawberry daiquiri) :rolleyes1 I'm not a drinker but I have to say this is really good and is pretty to look at. :teeth: Anyway, the waitress asked if I wanted the large I had never been asked that before so I said "I guess". Well when she brought the drink it was the size of a bathtub :lmao: I could have went swimming in it it was so big I was only able to drink about half of it as I started to feel a bit fuzzy and if I drank anymore my cheeks would have been a bit  .

2x2...Sorry you didn't have a good Dr's appointment. :grouphug:

Sophie, Sophie, Sophie :sad2: :lmao: Bad dog! She seems to be enjoying the stuffing! ;) :rotfl2:

I am still a bit sore from falling yesterday. I feel like someone beat the crap out of me.

Have a great night everyone!!!

Oh Lesa, I ordered the big mai-tai a few weeks ago at Joe's Crab Shack. Whoa was that sucker BIG, I could barely lift the glass, it was nearly as big as a bowling ball!! I've had the type of drink you're talking about, it's layered frozen concoctions, right? I love those froufrou drinks!! Did they put sunglasses on your fruit garnish? That always cracks me up.

Linda, have not seen Ice Age 2 but Lyzzie says it's good, if that means anything. I did not really care for the first one, I couldn't really get into the story as I found it pretty slow, and only made it about 1/2 way through, if that. Early night tonight, huh sweetie? We all need those, especially when it gets dark out so early. I was ready to put the kids to bed, and then I noticed it was barely 6pm! Darn, I missed the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. That's ok, Lyzzie thinks he is boring and Emma couldn't give a hoot what's on, as long as it's tv.

I picked up a kit today to make a gingerbread cookie Xmas tree, it's really cute and the best part is, the cookies are already baked and included! I made one once about 11 years ago where it came with cookie cutters and you had to make the cookies yourself, good thing I was smart enough to make a double batch because a lot of them broke. I brought it to a potluck and had to convince everyone it really was ok to eat it, they all thought it was for decoration!!

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow, it's going to be very slow at work due to the holiday, a lot of people are out and many businesses are already closing. Being that it's a new job, I have a hard time knowing how to kill time and still look productive when there's nothing to do! Speaking of which, I should probably attempt to get some shut-eye.

Linda & Donna... Kona Grill breakfast... sounds good, doesn't really matter to me what day. I try to be an early riser at WDW. Can't waste good vacation time by sleeping now can we?

I was thinking about something at 1900 Park Fare (breakfast maybe? Can anyone say pancakes with vanilla sauce?). I love that place and it's right there on the monorail line. Just a thought. We would have to stay a month to eat everywhere we all want to, and I would NOT want to see us (or me anyway) waddle out after that!! Actually I usually lose a few pounds at WDW from all the walking. You guys are going to laugh at how little I eat, and yet I still get stuffed. I don't think I have EVER cleared a plate, anywhere.

Great, now I'm getting hungry.

Happy Eve of Thanksgiving Eve everyone!!!

Just got home from work----another jammed packed day!!!! I can't stay up really late because I need to pack an overnight bag for tomorrow and be back at work at 7am.

Nothing new here---kind of boring, I know.

Donna----now that's my kind of sense of humor!!!! I'm the one cracking up in the greeting card aisle at the Far Side cards. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Lyzziesmom----

just for you babe.

Roberts-PB.jpg

Good to hear that your grandparents get to visit for both holidays. Yes, take lots of pics of the girls with them-----they are priceless!!!!! One of the last pics we have of my gram was when Luca was born. She went to visit my sister the day after he was born and we got the cutest picture of her holding him.

About Feb-----whatever you guys want to do----I'm just afollowin' along. Kona either morning sounds fine with me. I've never done the Adventures' Club nor the Comedy Club, so I cannot put my two cents in.
How long are we staying?? :lmao:

YM---OMG---Sophie is obviously NOT doing the Atkin's diet, huh??

Lesa---your drink sounds yum!!! Isn't that the second one you had this week or am I dreaming that I read this before?? Is this becoming your new Vanilla Frosty?? :teeth: :teeth:
Feel better chickie.

Linda---did you write those down?? I'll meet you for the first time and you'll say----"okay, let's hear these stories".
I want to go on the cruise too----I wish I would have thought seriously of it before. Maybe next time. Palo sounds awesome!!!!! Chocolate souffle!!!! mmmm.

Hi to everyone!!!!

To all those who are on the roads or in planes-----be safe and have wonderful trips, wherever your destinations may be!!!!!!!!

Night.

OH! I almost forgot to tell you all..... I mentioned to the new boss that I would be out of town in Feb for a few days, and since it's a little bit before my vacation time takes effect can we work something out, and she said.... NO PROBLEM!!! So... I am definitely going to attend the Cliqueless Convention! (or Conference, or whatever the heck we are calling it this week.) D'oh! How could I forget to mention that??

Tic tac toe, three in a row! Posts by me, that is.
Sadly, I am not nearly as good at talking to myself as our dancin Pin-cess is. On second thought, that's probably a good thing. (sorry 2x!)
ETA: Never mind. I'm not talking to myself after all!! The Pin-cess posted at the same time I was writing!
