I'm home from Nathan's Birthday party!!! There's nothing quite like having the kids play and make a mess; cleaning the leftovers and getting out of there!!! A good time was had by all!

Michele::We ate Mexican as well, only our was Taco Bell!! We have a pretty good authentic Mexican restaurant here, but were in a hurry today!!! The chicken strips sound like a disaster. I hate it when we go to a restaurant and something isn't right!! Covering up the pool; I don't know for sureif my sister has covered hers. I think swimming weather is over for us, too!!!

Yes, where is everyone?? I had computer/internet problems this morning, but seems to be doing okay now!!

Donna...it sounds like your Nathan had fun at his party. How many kids did you have? It was at a gymnastics center right? The best parties are the ones that you have somewhere else!! No clean up

Bree works at the bowling alley and her main job on the weekends is to be a party hostess for all the birthday parties that are held there. She is assigned 1-2 parties at a time. She is responsible for inputing all their info into the computer, getting their food and drinks, cutting the cake...she's pretty much their slave. She says the nicer the mom, the better tip she gets. The witchy demanding moms usually give her nothing.

Come on Donna and I can't be the only ones here!! We need Lyzziesmom back!! I wonder what she's doing right now??

Saturday: Epcot day #2, Segway tour in the am. Dinner at Alfredo's.

Sunday: Check-out day. Possibly back to DisneyQuest or mini-golf, then head back home

lyzziesmom may be finished with her dinner at Alfredo's!!! Dinner at Alfredo's sound good to me!!! A lot better than Taco Bell!!!

Hi everyone,

Well I had a fun night!! We went to Potomac Mills, an outlet mall. I've never been there before, it really reminded me of Sawgrass Mills mall, (Have you ever been there Jill??) I got some cute capri's at The Gap, a couple shirts at Old Navy, Jeremiah got some shirts at Timberland and Ecko, everything was really cheap!! OK, NOW I'm done shopping! All thats left to get is a haircut!

I am a little tramatized though. I normally only wear glasses, but a couple weeks ago I ordered my contacts, because I knew I would need sunglasses at Disney and I don't have perscription sunglasses like I used to. I thought I needed contact solution but Jeremiah said he thought I had some under the bathroom sink, and I've been using the solution for my contacts. I've worn them 4-5 times. Well tonight we're on the way home and all of a sudden I remember that brand of contact solution that was discontinued a couple months back. I remember reading about it, but it didn't affect me because I normally only wear glasses. I look at the brand of mine at home (Bausch & Lomb lens solution called ReNu with MoistureLoc) and lo and behold, its the one that was recalled! Now I'm seriously concerned about my eyes! They've been hurting lately, (only when I'm wearing the contacts) so I thought it was just because I wasn't used to them (contacts) like I used to. (I used to wear them pretty often.) They didn't exactly hurt, just felt dry. ANYWAY, now I'm paranoid!! Should I throw out my eye make up or eyeliner? Wait a couple days? Normally I start obsessing with these things and worry myself to death, should I?? I called my mom and she helped calm me down. Just venting! I've looked on some websites and they say it has been causing some type of fungus infection.

Ashley::I don't wear contacs, but I would definitely discontinue using the old solution and get something else. I would wait a couple of days to see if your eyes start to feel better. If you've only worn your contacs a few times, maybe your eyes aen't used to them yet.
There is an outlet mall in St.Louis called St. Louis Mills. DS loves to go there because there are lots of neat things for kids to do. They have an indoor skate place that is huge, an arcade, go carts and even small carnival-type rides. It's a fun place to go during the winter when the weather gets cold.

I already threw the solution out! Hopefully nothing came of it. My eyes feel fine right now. I was just being paranoid about it. Yeah, I think there are acouple Mills outlet malls, all over. They are fun to go to!!

hey late night kids--

I feel so out of the loop tonight--I haven't read much here in the past couple of days so I must go back and see what everyone is up to.

Do you believe that I still have not recieved my phone call?? I purposely came straight home after work today and kept the line open. I took a nap but would have woken up if the phone rang. I had my mom and my sister calling me to see if I had an update so everytime the phone rang my heart jumped. Yes, Wilma does have call waiting so I wasn't worried about that. A friend of mine then called and talked me into meeting them for dinner and then over to one of his friends' house. This friend lives by Forest Park in a lovely home with a pool and hot tub--of course, the Pin-cess bypassed that but did partake in the pina colada drinking. I am practicing for the Tambu Lounge in Oct.

Anyway, any hooties up??

Ash--I remember reading about that contact solution!! Did you flush out your eyes really well?? I would give it a couple of days and see if your eyes give you any trouble. Try wearing your contacts again and if they still hurt, I would call your dr. or the place where you got the contacts and ask to speak to the opthamologist and see what he/she says. How many times did you use the solution before you realized what it was??

Boy, you are the shopping little diva, aren't you?? Like Donna said, we have St. Louis Mills here. I haven't been much but every so often I will go to look at Gap and Banana. I remember when my sister lived is S. Florida we used to go to Saw Grass.

Too funny!!! I crack up in the card aisle at The Far Side!! For some unknown reason they just strike me funny. I have always had such a dry sense of humor. My mom says I was even like that when I was little.


Yes, I am a bit frustrated that she didn't call. When I talked with her nurse on Friday, she asked what my schedule was on Sunday as well, but I really thought it would be today. I really am not in the mood to sit around here again tomorrow waiting for her call. She has my cell # but I really don't want to take a call like that on my cell. I finally had to get out of this house today so I am so glad those friends called. I couldn't sit here any longer. For some reason I am in to mood to browse around Borders or Barnes and Noble tomorrow. I'm a CD junkie.

I'm just wearing my glasses. My eyes feel ok, they feel normal. They actually do hurt alittle, but I think it might be me imagining it. ???? They were hurting when my contacts were in, but I thought at first it was because my eyes were dry. Hopefully that is the case..I need to buy some more contact solution tomorrow. Then I'll try another pair of contacts.

This reminds me of the other day when I was at Target---I saw something with the hellokitty logo on it and thought of our little Ash!! awwww

Do you remember a while back when I said I found and bought a t-shirt from Target with a big owl on it?? I think I was talking to Lyzziesmom and said I just could not pass it up!!

Speaking of Lyzziesmom---tomorrow night?? I swore it was today--but Donna was right--tomorrow. I am sure she is not itching to get home but we can't wait to talk to her.
