Hi everyone--

Do you believe I have nothing to say?? I think I am too tired--it's been a long day!!

I'll try to catch up tomorrow night possibly. I have to keep the phone lines open in the morning because I missed the dr.'s call today and she will be calling tomorrow--hopefully before I have to go to work. I wish I would have known that she called today because I was literally in the next office over from her this morning at the other doctor visit. :confused3

I think I forgot to mention that I will not be working Saturdays anymore and it starts this weekend. I don't know, maybe I did mention it?? I do have to go in for a couple of hours to take care of clients already on my book because I can't move them with such late notice. This is the same for Monday and a couple of times throughout the month. It will take awhile to work through the cycle of clients. I am a bit nervous financially because I am cutting my hours but healthwise I know it will be good for me.

Anyway, so much for not having anything to say---I think I am incapable of this concept. :teeth:

I am passing the hoot stick tonight. pirate: princess:

:goodvibes Hi everyone...today was my workday...plus I stayed up too late last night. spohie...our new dog...seems to like to bark at night so I feel like I have a baby again. Hopefully we can get that under control.

Donna...work was fine. :teeth: By the way thanks for the breakfast which served as a great late night snack. popcorn:: You better get some extra sleep...falling asleep during DS's reading :rotfl: Little miss hootie owl...plus our early morning breakfast queen :cheer2:

MI mom...what a fun day you had at school  What's wrong with those kids. :smokin: :smooth: Tell me again how old your kids are from left to right...in your picture. :confused3 I can't remember. :teeth:

Ashley....well girlie...that was one long dinner. Hopefully you are your DH had some quality conversation. :listen:

Pozey...we went to the golf tournament last year. I went one day with DH and then DH and DS went back on Sunday. Some golfer tossed my DS a ball. It has her initials on it...it wasn't one of the big wigs...certainly wasn't Annika. Those were cool pictures. Hey did Courtney go for the Boomer Sooner red? Do does it have OU logos on it too? :teeth:

Well...I know I missed a couple of folks...hello to Amber, Nicole, Linda, Precious pixie, mommyintn(sorry you aren't feeling well), Dznyfan (i enjoyed your pics yesterday)

Oops I forgot the Pin-cess princess: hope you hear from your dr tomorrow...How many hours are you cutting back? I sure hope it is helpful. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Well, I guess the hootie stick is going back to Ashley again. :teeth: Ash.. you might have to try that chatting that 2xcited does so well....with herself. :hyper2: :rolleyes1 :dance3: Nighty Night :cloud9:

Hey everyone,

I just got back from dinner. I heard there was a new Smokey Bones (BBQ place) that opened near us, so I was excited and we went there. I used to love Smokey Bones when we lived in Florida and always craved it!

Mmmm...pulled pork...

I can't remember, what kind of dog is Sophie? Oh I couldn't handle the barking at night. I have been so tired lately I don't want anything interupting my beauty sleep. And I need all I can get!!

Matt is on the left, he's 14 and a freshman in HS, Nick is in the middle, he's 13 and in 8th grade and Briana is on the right, she's 18 and a freshman in college.

Gotta finish getting ready for school. TGIF :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Just to prove how bored I was last week when DH was away; I looked back trough the pages to find where lyzziesmom posted her itenarary. Page 191, I anybody is interested. So This is lyzzie and Emma's mom's plans for today!! princess:
Friday: AK day #2, possibly head back to another park in the pm if
we feel like it. Dinner at WCC, followed by viewing electrical water parade at the WL beach

I'll bet they're having a "fish" of a good time!!!! :fish:

Good Morning Everyone! It's FRIDAY!!! :woohoo:

Mike and I went to Red, Hot and Blue for dinner last night (funny how Ashley and I both went for BBQ). It was fantastic. I could eat the potato salad every day.
We got home and watched football. This is Mike's first year doing fantasy football. Usually, he justs gets upset/excited watching the Redskins. Now, it's EVERY team. He is trying to convince me to let him watch two TVs at once on Sunday. We have Sunday Ticket (meaning we get ALL the games). His plan is to use picture in picture and watch both TVs at once, so he can watch multiple games.

pozey, glad to hear Courtney's arm is healing.

2xcited2slp, A few years ago I switched jobs. I make less at my current job, but it was well worth it because I am happier. I'm not as tired or stressed. Just think out how much fun you can have on Saturdays instead of working.

Donna, thanks for breakfast and the info on lyzziesmom. I wish I was at AK right now. I can't wait to ride EE and I love Dinosaur.

:wave2: to Nicole, Ashley, Michele, Linda, Jill, YM, and I missing anyone?? Hope not.

Just had to share a pix :)
Kennyreadyforfootball.jpg

Michele...hope he had something good to tell you... a day off paid is pretty good too :teeth: that would be kinda weird him being a teacher before... have you seen the comercial that the old principal sits down to meet his blind date, a student-or old student...I forget but it was funny!

Hi everybody :wave2:

how you doing Dznyfan? Haven't heard from you much...hope everything is ok... when does Lyzziesmom get back? I sure miss her!! can't wait to see her pix!!! :cheer2:

Oh...I did cut his hair last weekend... shew...bad hair day! :teeth:

Ash- There is a Smokey Bones kind of close to me, maybe I'll have to check it out!

Pozey- I hope Courtney's arm heals up good!

Linda, Michele- I thought of that same commercial too! :rotfl: Cute pic Linda!

Steven told me yesterday that his boss wants him to go with him to Panama in Oct. to film him catching fish! I wish I could go!

This is SO my house. :

Pozey - great pics, and sorry Courtney had to keep a cast on - do you think it's the first of many?

YM - :wave2: BA plays Owasso tonight! won't be there, have a movie night scheduled with some friends.

Donna and Michele -It sounds like we all have the same hair. I can control mine MOST of the time in OK, but once I get to FL - forget it! It goes curly/frizzy/uncontrollable. I use straightening shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in just to keep it straight HERE. Nothing works in FL.

Nicole - Panama, huh? Cool!

:wave2: everybody!

Hey Dznyfan....just thought I would let you know that I YELL at the TV too.
I'm the wrost with college basketball(my DH watches in another room). Go RAMS...LOL I'm not really into high school football but I'm sure that will change as the boys get older. I can't believe how "big" it's become...I mean ESPN and national TV. (what's wrong with the smilies)????

Not sure about the sleep over question. Would it be for fun or out of necessity?I was just thinking about the reverse senario...I think I would say no....but my boys are 6 and 9 so that's really doesn't mean anything. Good luck with your decision.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to pop in to say hello before running some errands before work--ya know, the typical stuff--bank, post office and of course LUNCH!! Don't fret YM--still keeping it all good. :sunny:

My dr.'s nurse just called and said that the doc. wants to get in touch with me when we would have time to "talk"--LOVELY. So, because she is in between patients and I am heading off to work she is going to call me either tomorrow or Sunday. Doesn't she know I am here on my down time and because I am still Mrs. Flinstone it ties up my line?? So, until she calls I'm not sure how much I will be able to visit.

Lyzziesmom comes home tomorrow, right?? Maybe she'll check in with us tomorrow night and give us the scoop on their trip. I wonder if she'll be in a HOOTY mood or wiped out?? Probably wiped---you know how you need a vacation from your vacation?? :teeth:

DznyFan---good to see you. We've missed you. I know how it is, sometimes you just don't feel like talking to anyone. Take care.

Angela---I wanted to mention this earlier but never had a chance to. I am so sad to hear that you haven't been feeling up to par. I am sure it is so hard to deal with having a family to care for. Have they tested for any type of autoimmune?? I will be keeping you in my prayers!! :grouphug:

Thanks Donna once again for breakfast. I have always wanted to try the beignets from that food court. Maybe in Feb.??

YM--hey Queenie chick--I thought you were working today?? No??

Have a good rest of Friday.

Talk at you all soon.

Guess I've been more lurking than anything guess I haven't been very chatty... I dunno, it's been a weird week. Football season has started and I'm in 3 fantasy leagues, plus picks, I get to spend some of my surfing time researching.... plus looking at trailers, we got a contract on some land at the lake! School events have started and I have to juggle volunteer work, vocal music parent organization stuff and so forth around work.
Love the pic of Kenny - he is SO CUTE!!! (Have I told you how cute he is???) :thumbsup2

This is SO my house. We don't have Sunday Ticket, but one of our good friends does, and we will hook up our receiver and his receiver, and multiple TVs so that we can watch the Hi-def game on our HD TV then other games on the little TV. The friends wife isn't into football, but I am (my DH says he's lucky) - she'll hang out and watch, just 'cuz we're friends, but she doesn't usually yell at the TV like I do.

Open house at school last night, (then football watching) and: Erin was elected treasurer of the Thespian Club at school, and an officer for vocal music as well - hooray!

Here's food for thought: (and seeking your opinion) would you allow your daughter to spend the night at a male friend's house if he were very openly gay? (obviously it would be a definate NO if he were straight) One of her best friends - whom I really like - asked if she would be able to. I'm thinking about giving them the OK, but at our house. He's always over anyway. We have a hide-a-bed in our guest/game room. I guess I look at it like this: he's one of her best girlfriends, only he's a guy. :confused3 But, I'm still on the fence, after all he is male. He's the only male that is allowed in our home with her after school before we get home, because she's safe!

Pozey - great pics, and sorry Courtney had to keep a cast on - do you think it's the first of many?

YM - :wave2: BA plays Owasso tonight! won't be there, have a movie night scheduled with some friends.

:wave2: everybody!

Congrats on the contract on the lake :woohoo: !! that is great :cool1: yeah, it's getting to be pretty busy time of year w/sports and everything going on. I watch the games but don't go too crazy :teeth: ... yes your dh is lucky :smooth: ... Kenny...he's a HAM!! But he's my baby :cloud9: the gay friend... like YM said...is it like they're going somewhere and sharing a room or like girls having a sleep over :goodvibes ... it would depend on the situation.. trust your gut. good luck. Hope her x is leaving her alone too!!

I love football, but I'm not as obsessed as Mike. I do scream at the TV though. I also like boxing and Nascar. Mike is lucky to have me. :teeth:

Linda, Kenny is just a doll.

Dznyfan, I would let her. If you trust both of them, plus he's gay it shouldn't be a big deal. Since you already let him over when you aren't there, it isn't too much of a difference for them to spend the night together.

2xcited2slp, Good Luck with the doctor. Waiting for phone calls was the main reason I hated having dial up. I did use callwave for a while. It was caller ID for your computer. A screen would pop up and tell you who was calling. You could answer it or they could leave a message. I think the most basic plan was $3.00 a month.

Dznyfan- I agree with Amber, as long as he's in a different room, it should be okay.

Great news on getting the lake house!

2xcited ~ pixiedust: for the doctor, dear!

For clarification: gay friend will stay in a different room, most definitely. (can you tell I'm a pretty open minded mama?)
Erin is so lucky ::yes:: ...yeah..different rooms...I'd probably be ok w/it considering her age and ...hes gay :goodvibes

Hi everyone :teeth:

TGIF!! Yay!!!

Not to mention, 2 weeks from RIGHT now I'll already be at MCO, probably getting on or already on ME :goodvibes

Amber, Glad you had a nice dinner!! I love BBQ!! The only sport I really watch is Basketball with Jeremiah. I used to hate football when I was younger and I think it is because I was forced to watch it. However, my family are HUGE Steelers fans, (actually my family is in Pittsburgh as we speak, they saw the first game against the Dolphins last night, my dad's family is originally from there and then moved to South Florida) and I watched the Championships last season or whatever they are called and the Superbowl and I was SCREAMING when the Steelers were playing that game..I was a nervous wreck.

Nicole, try it! The food is yummy if you like BBQ. Jeremiah got the baby back ribs and they were soooo good!! And if you like cornbread, their's is the BEST!!

DznyFan, I would let her have the sleepover. One of my bestfriends in highschool was gay and we had a great relationship!! It would be harmless, especially if they are already alone alot. Glad the ex-boyfriend thing worked out, that was really creepy!!

April, Where are yooou???? Isn't your trip coming up VERY soon? (Is it happening right now???) I can't remember the dates. I miss you!!!!!

Donna, LOL I'm glad you went and looked to see what Lyzziesmom and crew were doing..I was wondering about that!!!

2xcited, HI. :wave2: :p ...Thats all I have to say. :teeth: :goodvibes

Linda, Kenny is adorable!!!! He takes such cute pictures, he is so photogenic (Is that how you spell that?) I think I'm going to go get a haircut this weekend..If not this weekend, then DEF. next because its the last one before my trip! Wish me luck!!

Hi to everyone else, my brain is acting funny!!
