Hi Everyone!
I'm from Aransas Pass---near Corpus Christi and in South Texas. We have flown a few times but we usually drive and take the motorhome to Fort Wilderness. The first day we stop in The Woodlands and pickup the grand kids. We're going to try to make it to Milton,FL the first day and then to WDW the next. We'll be there July 12 - July 24. It will be hot but it will be fun!!!

We're going to Garner in June.

I lived in Portland for a while and still think of moving back!! We used to eat at Napolitas(SP?) like every other day in Aransas. Best food in the world resides in this area!!!!

Hi y'all...We are from Port Nehes...do any of y'all get picked on when you go to DW becuase of your accent...last time we went I got picked on by a CM at the entrance to MK...I have a major southern draw...but I love it..I love that I can't say sprite or right properly

born in beeville tx but my heart belongs to the sun city EL PASO (the forgotten tx city) grew up there and hope to go back soon!

Not at WDW. However my DH and I play an online game called World of Warcraft. We have a couple of friends that are in Australia, and we talk using a Ventrilo program. For some reason they make fun of the way I say pinch. It's ok though, I get them back by teasing them with things like: "So what do you do when the string you are using for an internet connection breaks?" or "You mean they have actual houses in Australia? I thought you all still lived in mud huts." B/c of the type of humor they have and I have we both just think it's funny. Although, I did get so tired of them teasing me how I say pinch, that I have banned the word from my vocabulary when they are around.

San Antonio native here!!! We drive also. We also take 2 days and stay as close to Orlando as possible. Sometimes that's Mississippi but more often it is Jackson, Fl. I think....... Getting ready to head back to CSR in June!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!

I live in Plano, which is just north of Dallas. Southfork Ranch is about 15 minutes away from me (my family back home in Chicago gets a kick out of that!).

Aransas Pass has the best boiled shrimp and garlic butter at a place called Corey's. It's across the street from the HEB. We ALWAYS make a point to go eat there when we're at the coast.

Native Texan here! I live in New Braunfels, home of America's #1 waterpark- Schlitterbahn!

*New Braunfels is on I35 between Austin & San Antonio.

ETA: We've driven four times including July '07. We take two days (stayed overnight in Pensacola, FL); about 18 hours of driving. We've flown six times. Much prefer flying. The Orlando airport is nice!

Howdy, another Texan checkin in....Wichita Falls here. We aren't going until Oct of 2009....to far, way too far

When in October 2009 you going? We are set for Oct. 24-31 DCL Eastern cruise. You're correct in saying it's a long time from now. Going to split the time by going to WDW for Xmas this year. Wife's idea for that time frame. I was happy to go earlier in December for er birthday.
