I received my tag earlier this year on the Community board. The thread was about phobias and I was being truthful. I just about blew it the other night though when I said something about the TF sporting a mullet. She called me on it and that is why I temporarily placed an apology in my siggie. I am not concerned about getting another one...just preserving the tag I have.

The Tag Fairy does not respond to bribes. Threats rarely work. She flies when she flies, and nobody knows when that'll be. 'Tis a puzzlement.

She likes chocolate, is NOT fat, likes old-style punk rock music...and knows EVERYTHING.

She has been known to be in two places at once. And she may or may not be stalking Tigger&Belle (and if you think I'm getting in the middle of that, you've got another think coming!)

That is what I've learned so far.

Oh, and be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it (right after you've admitted that you're stupid...like having racoons be smarter than you or other things...Huh-timmel!)

Never say anything on the DIS (especially the CB) that you don't want to be stuck with permanently. Tags...expect them when you least expect them.

I learned that the tf is neither a he nor a she.....and that is right there in my tag lines!!! And no, I don't eat crack with my tomato soup!

I was tagged back at the end of May. Then I did something silly. I was trying to remove my own words so that just the TF's tag was there. Well, I removed my own and the TF's and I have been so ashamed and would never dare ask for another. I figure eventually, the TF will take pity on me and give me a new one and I will NEVER touch them again.

Be patient.. my child (just an expression).. It took me 6 years.. and it took me over 5,000 post!! Wait a few years and it can happen when you least expect it! And look at me now.. I have been tagged not too long ago and alread been retagged... and I loved my new tags!!

The Snarky Purple Fairy (SPF) implied recently that s/he is a male. Don't know that I can believe anything that s/he said, so I refer to him/her as gender neutral, except when I slip.

The Tag Fairy (or fairies...) tend to like it when posters say embarrassing things (esp the SPF), and since I tend to put both of my feet in my mouth on a regular basis there is a never shortage of material. I'd like to say I'm doing this for tags, but nothing could be further from the truth. I'd like to say it has something to do with my first tag, but it doesn't too much--I'm just a goof. So the more you post and even better, the more you embarrass yourself, forgetting all about the tag fairy, the more likely you are to be tagged.
