Who here has a pellet stove?

Can I ask how big is it ? How big is the area to heat and how much it costs you to heat the house in the winter?? I'm starting to look at other sources of heat in my house. Thank you .

We have a pellet stove that has been running non-stop almost all winter. It takes about the same space as a wood stove. We use it along with our oil furnace. We have saved a lot on the cost of oil, the furnace doesn't kick on very often. My DH just got a half ton of pellets on Monday and I think he paid $75. Another thing to take into consideration is that the pellet stove feeder runs off of electric.
