Who here has a "fun" job?

I think I have a great setup. I get to go to DTD and theme parks on a regular basis to shop for things for other people. I get to call it work!

You win!!! I want your job!!!!!! AWESOME :thumbsup2

Wow, NICE jobs here. A few are more of individual taste but still I see a lot of cases of people helping others.

Feralpeg, you are bound to make others here very envious! "Baby mechanic" That's cute. :)

Middle school teacher here- :teacher: I love my job! Every day is an adventure.

All right! I am not alone. Another MS :teacher: on the boards!! :woohoo:

Rewarding. Not sure about fun, but very rewarding. I enjoy helping people plan for the future.

I LOVE my job. I teach gymnastics. It is so great to watch a child learn a new skill. Plus I get to wear yoga pants and a t-shirt to work.

My job isn't fun right now but once the time comes it will be. I am a software engineer. I will be working on Naval airplanes. Pretty interesting if you are into that sort of thing.

I'm a legal advocate in a domestic violenc shelter, absolutely never a dull moment. I think it is a fun job. I meet people from all walks of life, have lots of cool days!

So far I haven't seen my job posted. I'm a Tax Collector! I think it's fun (in it's own weird and sadistic way). I get to Levy bank accounts and garnish wages and have vehicles seized! :lmao:

GENERALLY, my job is fun, other than being a full time SAHM I am a cake decorator. Can be very fun!

not me, but one of my patients is a 'taster' at the local cookie factory.

Yes, I waitress part time at a themed restaurant here in Orlando, it's a blast.

I guess I could have a worse job so mine's OK. It's not a dream job. However, one of my perks is to be able to travel on occassion. I've been able to go to some countries and cities that I normally wouldn't go to on vacation. Not many people make it to China in a lifetime. Granted, I don't get to do a whole lot of fun touristy stuff but I'm not a museum buff anyway. I just like to stand in the middle of it all and soak it in.
2 weeks ago I had to go to LA so I went to Downtown Disney for dinner (just to soak up a bit of Disney).

I was an Audio Engineer for a television show on HGTV. I did that for six years, and moonlighted mixing FOH or Monitors for numerous acts which came through the area as well as three symphony orchestras. I left when my local convention center called me and wanted to know if I'd come work for them... I still get to do some audio work -- I designed and installed a brand new Media Matrix Nion system for our center (saving over $200,000 by doing it myself) and occasionally will mix for an event or two. Otherwise, I handle all the orders exhibitors have for numerous conventions and trade shows. There's always someone new, and always something fun to be found...

I am a Concessions Stand Manager for our minor league baseball team. I get handle customers complanits and meet alot cebrlaties. I got Micheal Jorden autograph when he play minor league baseball. Cal Riken Jr. autograph to. I love my job beacuse I get enter active with people.

Ouch! I can't say that I admire this one but then I'm sure that you've heard that before. Also, you have NO idea who I am. (I hope.) :teeth:

I did voices for cartoons a couple of years back! Tons of fun and the money was great too ... the hours could be really long though. I was also a media monitor for a couple of years which was sort of fun because during our down time we could watch soaps, talk shows, reality TV etc. ... :goodvibes

Now I'm on a quest for another fun job! I wouldn't mind being a taster at a cookie factory but I don't think my waistline would survive :rotfl:

I enjoy my job. I work in the Facilities department in an aerospace company, and support management w/reports & stuff. I have to coordinate with people within our department, other departments, and across the US. I'm pretty busy, and work for and with really nice people, so it makes it easy to work there for me. Good thing I like it. I've been there over 20 years now. :)

I know alot of people think I am crazy, but I LOVE my little job, and have so much fun! Other than being a SAHM, I work just one day a week for four hours in the local YMCA in the child watch. I get to snuggle and play with all of the adorable babies from under 3 years to just 6 weeks old!

It may not be the most mind-challenging jobs, to say the least, but for someone who loves babies, it's the best. I really look forward to Tuesdays!

I am not so sure how much fun that is, but it is exciting and boring depending on the cases that come into our office

I think my job is fun. I am currently a grad student, and my mom and I run our own small business. We sell invitations, favors and accessories for weddings and special occasions. We think its so much fun to share in the special times of our clients! We get to set up reception rooms, and help clients theme their weddings. We love it!
