Hello i just wanted to throw a light-hearted question out there!!

Anyone out there think it's totally UNFAIR that when you are leaving WDW and are at the airport there are other people just starting their vacays?!? :)

It's just so hard for me to believe that WDW actually keeps on going even after i've left :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Anyone?

I thought I only felt like that! My DH rolls his eyes when I get that sad look and say,"It's not fair, they're just starting their vacation". I have to start planning my next trip while I'm at the airport to feel better. :sunny:

LBak--> haha we always sit there with sad faces and then we too start thinking "well next time we will stay..." hahah :)

I totally feel that way!! LOL! DH is always thinking of ways to keep me upbeat and happy while we're heading to the airport. Unfortunately, he hasn't thought of any yet. I still get sad every time I leave WDW!

During our last trip to WDW, on our LAST evening we had our LAST WDW dinner at Chef Mickey's. While waiting in line we saw a family we know from home. It was their FIRST night of vacation! I was so jealous! They vacation was just starting and ours was OVER! SO unfair!.............P

Its a total BUMMER!! And you can almost PICK OUT the people getting off the plane heading to WDW: kids in Mickey Ears, parents with their guide books out . . . We have actually started taking MUCH later flights home because most people get to Orlando at the BEGINNING of the day, not the evening, to start their vacation. Fewer people for us to be jealous of!!!

I get to go often and still get pangs of sadness when I am leaving with my luggage and people are wheeling their luggage in.... especially since I haven't been since January, that's 4 months WDW free for me. Plus with our Ireland trip and then summer I am not looking at going until September. Boo hoo! But at least in Sept we can plan to go to MNSSHP, whoo hoo!

Yes, it's always heartbreaking whenever I leave Disney. I also feel the same way whenever I leave a cruise. Life is so unfair. ;)

What's really kinda funny is seeing people at the airport whenever we arrive in Las Vegas. Some of these people waiting to catch flights out look like they have major hangovers or haven't slept in days (or maybe they lost a lot of money :scared1: ) I'm sure I look like that whenever I leave too! :teeth:

What! Other people visit WDW after I leave?!? I always assumed that the parks just closed down after my family left. :teeth:

Yes, it is sort of sad knowing that you are leaving and others are just starting their magical stays.

When it's my last day there I always feel like the other WDW guests don't want to look directly at the "one's leaving".

People can take one look at me and tell that I am leaving. I usually shed a tear or two.

Getting to the airport and planning your next WDW is way too late. You really must stat planning before you leave the property. DH and I have a deal, I don't agree to leave unless the next trip is being thought about. Otherwise, I'll just stay on property and he can fly home.

Works for me!!

Doesn't really bother me I will have my next trip booked trying to squeez in a small one as well.

Right now we will be lucky (and I'm mean really LUCKY) to have a trip planned for every June and then the second one at either MNSSHP or MVMCP so about 6 months and we will be back.

I just think when we were kids DW never had a real vacation growing up and our was always centered around what my father was doing at the time .So we are so fortunit to be in the position we are in .

The other thing that makes me sad is as we are leaving the resort seeing all those happy faces checking in!!! ARRGG.....

Me too. I hate to see those people just checking in with all their luggage when we're loading up the car. I will admit to a little bounce in my step, though, when *we* see people leaving and we're just arriving. Evil, I know!

My sister and I started planning a September trip this weekend and last night we were talking about our ADR's and we got to the night before the last night of our trip. I got soooooo sad thinking about how our trip was almost over!!! :sad2: It is pretty funny since we just booked our rooms and neither of us have even put our deposit down because we don't know if our Dh's can get off of work at that time. So...... I am sad that a trip I don't even know if I can take or not is going to end sometime in the future! :confused3 Disney is really an illness for me!

Oh well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I might be going to the Contemporary!!!!!!!! Sept. 19th - 27th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get the saem way
It doesnt make a difference what vacation Iam on, Im always sad to leave. I always hated those people just checking into the hotel with all their luggage stacked on a cart, just waiting...I guess we all feel jealous of this.

We are going on a cruise in August, and I KNOW Im going to feel sad leaving. I guess it is just a part of life.

There is something Magical about Disney. Even if we have one full day for theDisney parks the day before, the last visit is always sad. I mean even if we get there right before it opens, I always feel "its my last day"...Then look over at the families who are on their first day at the parks, and I get sad.Yes, planning another trip always helps.

Ya the end of any vacation sucks but especially end of WDW vacations. We/I just start planning the next either before we leave for 1st or very soon after we arrive back home.
