Dw and I made an offer yesterday on a ssr contract :teeth: . The agent Pat at the timeshare store was great. Answered all of my questions and was ver professional. So before I sign or pay for anything, I wanted some feedback from those of you who have gone through the process. What did you like/didn't like (if anything)? If you were ROFR'd what did you do? Did it take long to get your money back? Did you hire an attorney to look over the contract? Thanks so much and I hope to get a welcome home soon.

We made our purchase back in 2000. TTS handled everything very professionally.

Can't speak to being ROFR'ed because we got great advice on what to offer and the 3 add-ons we did with TTS all passed. Great experience each time.

We used Pat back in 2002. No problems. Everything went smoothly and really pretty quickly although it did not FEEL like it at the time! ;)

I myself talked with Pat back in 1999, helpful & professional...I had my friends give her a call in 2003 and they bought 2 contracts at BCV...all went very smoothly....

TSS is very easy to deal with. Three phone calls and 4 weeks and we were done.

We just finished our resale with the Timeshare Store - we used Jason. Did not get ROFR'd. Everything went smoothly until the end - Disney's Fault, not Timeshare Store. Closed with Timeshare store but having trouble with Disney putting us in system. Thanks to Jason at Timeshare - he kept on them and finally last week we were entered.

Very happy with Timeshare.

Good Luck!

I have used Pat and The Timeshare Store for one sale and two purchases. I highly recommend them. Professional, responsive, know the product and the market.

We used The Timeshare Store. All I can say is everything went very smooth. Jerry was our sales rep and he and the rest of the staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend them. We passed ROFR in less than 2 weeks and closed in a month. We plan to use them again for an add on when the right contract becomes available.

We used them for 2 separate contracts. We had no problem with the first contract.....very smoothly!! The 2nd wasn't. I don't think it was the fault of the Timeshare Store but more so the original owner not getting the paperwork done in time. There was a lack of communication though. My DH almost backed out because we felt we weren't being kept abreast of the situation. anyways, it worked out and we got both contracts.

I used TSS back when we purchased our original contract in 1996 or 1997, and it went as smoothly as possible. So they've been handling DVC resales for 8 years - at least - and it's safe to say they've seen it all by now.

We used TTS back in 2002 to purchase a 230 point contract at OKW. This was in the days before ROFR was exercised quite as frequently as it is now. Pat Spell was our agent, and it was a very efficient, completely painless deal. Took about 6 weeks start to finish as I recall. I would certainly recommned them.

We used TTS for two 300 points contracts at OKW in early 2004. We're looking for more points and we look forward to working with them again when we see the contract that will meet our needs. I strongly recommend the TTS.

We've used Pat at TTS and recommend both she and the store highly. Very nice people, very professional, very ethical.

The TSS is very professional and always avail. for questions. We were ROFR'd when we tried to purchase thru TSS. They called us up as soon as they heard and had our money back to us in a few days and there was no pressure from them to buy another. Unfortunately we were ROFD'd but our experience with them was great. We were on a wait list with Disney for BCV the same time we were trying to purchase with TTS and found out the same week that we were ROFR'd that the waitlist with disney came thru so we took that one.

Used the TSS this year for a BWV resale. Jason walked us through it all, we followed his advice and did not get ROFR'd. Timeframe was exactly as he predicted. It was really a breeze and I would use the TSS again.

My experience with the Timeshare Store is exactly the same as awatt's -- BWV this year through Jason and it all went very smoothly!

We worked with Pat a month or two ago for a contract. Everything went as planned. We're very low maintenance though, so I didn't initiate any contact after we got the ball rolling, which was on one 3 minute conversation. :rotfl:

Our new DVC cards (and another for our other contract) arrived in the mail about 15 days after closing. Smooth sailing.

We dealt with Jason on our VWL contract earlier this year. It was very easy and good communication.

The folks at the TSS are absolutely great! After having a bad time with another company we found a 100 pt. OKW through the TSS and within the month had passed ROFR. The final paperwork was recieved yesterday, so we should be in the Disney system within a few weeks. The folks over there were great. Kristie was very helpful and Tom went out of his way to help us. My DW and I are very happy with our experience with them. :teeth:
