Who has used the Hair Salon?

Thinking about going for an updo before the formal, would definitely like to do the consultation, which may or maynot lead to a cut or color. So would love to hear from people who have been and what your thoughts were good or bad!. TIA

I got my hair cut and colored. I loved it. It was a bit more expensive. I think around 165 for both.

I got my hair cut last Sept. on the Wonder and was very happy with it. My friend had an updo and plans on doing the same this year for formal night. Her cost for the updoo was only about $25. We were shocked that it was so inexpensive. The haircut was about twice that + but worth it.

I got a haircut on the wonder last year and was happy with both the cut and the price, but there was no real "consultation". I thought they would assess my facial shape, hair characteristics, and lifestyle and give me some suggestions for a new "do", but they just cut it in the same style that it had been. I told the stylist that I was ready for something new, but since I couldn't say exactly what, she didn't offer any suggestions. So my advice is go ahead and get the cut, but don't expect a full consultation. It may well depend on the stylist and their nerve though.

jmalk - thanks for the comment on the consultation because just like you I would be expecting them to make some suggestions on a new "do" too!. And as it's about the same time as the sailaway party I think I will skip the consultation, appreciate you telling me.
