Who has used AAA parking pass?

Uses Them All The Time,they Let You Park Up Front.they Love It Because You Do Not Have Wait And Fight To Get On A Tram Car.you Park Up Front A Walk A Few Feet From The Gate Of The Parks.

It comes with the package From AAA. we used it during our last trip and it's awesome! Nice close parking spot! We are going during spring break this year so I know we'll have to get there extra early to get these great spots.
I don't know that you can buy them separately though.

Do you just keep it on the dash of your car? Do you know if it works at places other than disney (sea world)?

We have used it each trip we have taken over the last few years. You generally have to buy a package through AAA to get it - you can't purchase the pass. That being said, we bought just our tickets one year through AAA and got the pass. Another year, we just booked the hotel and got the pass. When you're booking, just ask if it will be included. It doesn't entitle you to free parking - if you're not staying onsite, you'll have to pay for parking.

The pass is wonderful for EPCOT and Animal Kingdom - you park right up front. At MGM and the TTC for Magic Kingdom, we found the walk to be longer and the pass not as beneficial. But it is still walkable, unlike many other spots in those parking lots! You just put the pass on the dash of your car and you'll be all set!

We're going to WDW in 12 days and everything is booked except I haven't bought our tickets yet. When I saw this thread, I went over to the aaa website and lo and behold, for the same price, I bought our park hoppers PLUS got a free parking pass!!! Woohoo!

I hate walking and parking far away and have never even heard of this parking pass thing. But I have now!!!

I am sure this is a dumb question, but do you still pay to park? Or is the parking pass for both better spots AND paid parking. I saw the spots the last time, much closer.

we are AAA member, but probably not buying thru them for trip in Sept. I heard these were good for 1 year and that you can't buy them seperate?? If this is true are the transferable? I mean is it possible for me to get someones after they have been to WDW if they are willing to pass along? What a joke that I am AAA member but can't just get the pass, b/c I would love one with 4 young kids!!

You can get them if you buy a 4 day (or longer) ticket via AAA. Mine say on them (in bold font) "This voucher is not transferable to any other party" and (not in bold "Photo I.D. required"

You can buy them off ebay unsigned though, I'm not sure if I'm more or less in favor of them being sold on ebay or just passed along.

Also, it doesn't get you free parking - you still have to pay for parking (or show an AP or resort parking pass)
