Who has the most posts?

It never ceases to amaze me when I see that someone has posts that number in the thousands! I've been lurking these boards for a couple of years now and still I only have a little over 50 posts.

I'm just curious to see who has the most posts. For those who have a large number of posts - how many posts do you average a day?

What you don't know is that our post counts were cut to zero once and dramatically lowered once. I lost 3,000 or 4,000 the first time and another 1,000 or 2,000 the second time. I have seen 10k+, I think even 14k. I don't really look at them and never notice them until someone asks about them. If you click on my name it will give you all kinds of stats, including average posts per day.

Yep, I think I would be close to 20,000 if they hadn't been cut several times. Most of us post on more than one of the boards at this site. I can really up a post count on the CB!

Well there may be a little "Magic Beginnings" in my post count.

I think I managed, in teasing a CCertain webmaster who-must-not-be-named about her count carrying over when she changed to her CCivilian name while mine didn’t move over when I changed mine, to have a little joke played upon my tally.

It also seems I have maxed out, it just stays at that number no matter how many post a day I make. So my post per day will slowly decline over the decades. LOL

So, I think my count, unfortunately, is actually in Italian lira not US dollars is you get my meaning.

Not that I mind or anything - I am a legend in my own mind.

Oh my! 65,000? Over 170 per day! Is that true? That's about 7 posts an hour, or about 1 post every 9 minutes all day! Amazing!

The key thing on that profile is not the post count.

Funny....65535 is the largest 16 bit number possible - 1111 1111 1111 1111

Thus the SQL or whichever database that is counting the posts is in 16bit and will not count higher

Kind of the same in Excel which has 65,535 rows

And here I thought I was pretty active.

I suspect that posts per day is a better measure of how participative one is. Total posts is a better measure length of DIS membership for those whose posts per day are equal.

Poor Zurg....no where to go but down. You need to an automated intelligent interactive posting program just to stay at your exaulted level
