Hello all,

I know it's out there, I've seen it before (should have wrote it down) but can someone please share with me the fax # to send site preference. We are about a week away and I think I should be sending it in.

Thanks alot.

I knew you would be the first to respond!! :lmao:

Thank you.

Do you think it's still too early to send? I will be arriving in 11 days.

What information should I be putting on the request?
Name
Reservation number
Date of arrival
Preferred site #
Other preferences ..

Anything else? :confused3

5 days out is when you should send the fax.

The fax# is:407-824-3508

Date

TO: Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campground Site Assigner

FROM: Name
Address

SUBJECT: Site Request for Month xx - xx

RE: Reservation # xxxxxxxx

I am really looking forward to my stay at the Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campground and am writing about campsite requests. I do understand that these are only requests and cannot be guaranteed.

If possible, I would like a site in Loop xxxx with a site that will accomodate the following: (list your "stuff" here) and near (whatever you want to be near).

Thanks so much for your help, and once again I’m really looking forward to my visit to Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campground.

If you have any questions, I can be reached at xxx-xxx-xxxx or by email at xxx@xxx.xxx

Sincerely,

Your name here

Does it really help to fax your request? It just seems to me that it would be better just to take what they give you. They already have your information when you made your reservations. I would think they would be giving an awful lot of faxes if everyone did it and it won't help the matter. :goodvibes

More information can be put into a fax than can be put into the request field that central reservations has. Also most folks at central reservations are clueless when it comes to Fort Wilderness and RVs in general. The folks working site assignments at the Fort know exactly what a 34' Kodiak with 3 slides being towed with a Chevy 2500 Crew Cab needs. (disclaimer, this is not a description of a real camper or truck, just an example)
