who has the better breakfast..

Ok- I am a fish out of water for breakfast at Disney. I have narrowed it down to Crystal Place or Ohanas. The characters aren't a factor. Which one has better food-Everything I have read makes them both sound good so I can't decide which to shoot for.

I've had both . . .I'm going to have to vote for Crystal Palace. Better food, better variety.

I've done both too... and I agree with these first couple of replies - Crystal Palace has better food. No question!

I went to breakfast at 'Ohana once, but I went to Crystal Palace for breakfast too many times to count! Does that imply anything?

'Ohana is unlimited traditional family-style breakfast foods... good stuff, but not much variety.

Crystal Palace is unlimited buffet - and a very spread out buffet. Lots of great stuff to choose from! They have everything 'Ohana has and more, like breakfast lasagna, breakfast pizza, puffed french toast, omelettes made-to-order, chocolate Mickey waffles, and lots, lots more!

Definitely go with Crystal Palace!

We LOVE Crystal Palace...it is a must do every trip. We've not done Ohana's since they changed it from buffet to family style and changed it from "Minnie's Breakfast" to Lilo & Stitch (we are not fans of Stitch).

Another good one is 1900 Park Fare. Nice variety too. Here is the menu.

Supercalifragilistic Breakfast - Breads and Pastries: Assorted sliced breads, croissants, bagels, pecan sticky buns, cheese danish, flaxseed-zucchini muffins and blueberry muffins, served with cream cheese, and grape jelly. Cold Buffet: Flavored yogurts, fresh fruit, chilled strawberry soup, assortment of cereals, House made granola, and Rice Krispie treats. Edy's Soft Served Ice Cream also available with an array of toppings. Hot Buffet: Chef's preparation of custom eggs and build your own omelet. Bacon, Sausage links, carved ham, scrambled eggs, bread pudding with vanilla sauce, roasted potatoes, Mickey shaped waffles, Grits and Oatmeal.

Characters are Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Tigger and we've seen Winnie the Pooh there too.

Crystal Palace was great last year! You can get omlettes and pancakes made to order just the way you like them!

Crystal Palace will have a better selection, being a buffet! Ohanas is served Family style! Both are very good though!

CP is also fun because you can get into MK before opening.

We prefer 'Ohana breakfast.

My DH loves 'Ohana, because it is a skillet full of meat and potatoes. Right up his alley!! He passed on the waffles & fruit (left those for me) and he and the boys ate 2 (maybe 3) of those darn skillets!! He has already asked if our 'Ohana dinner would have that much meat this year.

We prefer Ohana's food and it is a huge plus that I can get pressed pot coffee from Kona delivered to Ohana!

Much prefer Crystal Palace. Love getting into MK before the Park opens and getting a few photos of an uncrowded Castle/Main St.

While the Crystal Palace is good, I definitely prefer the breakfast they serve at 'Ohana. That's just me, though!

Both Crystal Palace & Ohana are favorites of ours - we do both on our trips, but if we had to pick just one, then we would pick Crystal Palace.

I might be in the minority here but we did not like the food at CP breakfast. We figured it's just breakfast how could they mess that up? It was very uninspired like a ponderosa buffet. Then we went to Boma breakfast, now thats some great food. Never been to Ohana bfast. The characters were rushed at CP. This last year we went to Chef Mickeys at 7:30 am better food, and better character interaction than CP and still made RD at MK.
