My husband LOVES a really great steak, which place would you recommened for us to have a nice dinner out in the WDW resort area?

Having just gotten back and ate at both LeCeller and Concorse Steakhouse. I though the Concorse was better. But I hear Yatch Club is better ,will have try it next time.

I really love the steaks at Le Cellier. I've always gotten great filet mignon there.

Our personal favorites are Shula's or Jiko's.
I normally don't order filet, however, the cut I had at Jiko's in December was excellent. It was so tender, you could slice it with a butter knife!
We have eaten at Jiko's twice, and simply loved it both times. :)

We had great beef at Le Cellier, Concourse, & Kona. DH would tell you Kona is the best. He had the prime rib & said it was the best he has ever had. I had the filet there...incredibly tender & delicious. I had the chipotle rib eye at concourse & it was delicious! Very tender. A tad on the sweet side, but really good!

Our favorite steaks at WDW .. in order:

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Jiko
Flying Fish
Spoodles
Le Cellier
Kona Cafe

My favorite cut is the Strip, and I think Le Cellier does a wonderful job with it.

If your husband is as big of a steak lover as I am (I'd have it every day for every meal), and you aren't concerned about the cost of the meal, then the choice is Shulas and get a nice prime filet.

If you are looking for something more reasonably priced, go with Le Cellier.

Great advice everyone, we're looking at steakhouses and we're really not sure which one to pick, there are just so many wonderful sounding choices!

One question, my OH is picky in the extreme, he will not eat any vegetables except potatoes and won't have any kind of sauce/seasoning on his steak. Which (if any) of WDW's steakhouses would be prepared to serve him with a plain steak (if he chose a cut off the menu) and fries (I've checked the kids menu's for a few places and most will serve kids fries so I'm presuming they have the ability to cook them instead?)

The best steak I have ever had – and I usually order steak at most meals – was the Filet Mignon at Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge. It was wonderful. One of the best meals I have ever had.

I have also had a very good steak at Le Cellier.

I did not care for the steak I had at Jiko. However, that was just after Jiko had opened and at that time the Filet had some sort of “green paste” on top. I can’t recall right off hand what this was, but I did not particularly care for it. I notice now that the menu for the Filet at Jiko simply says Filet on top of macaroni and cheese and a red wine sauce.

The Filet at the Brown Derby was excellent as well.

We have never eaten at the Yachtsman Steakhouse, but I have heard good things about the steaks there. It is on our list for the next trip.

I have also heard GREAT things about the steaks at Shula’s, but again, we have never dined there.

I am sure that most any of the nicer sit-down steakhouses at Disney will prepare his steak "plain" if you ask the chef ahead of time.

Shula's is my favorite, especially the 22 ounce cowboy steak. They all come plain and all sides are al a carte.

The filet at Brown Derby was wonderful and I don't even like steak.

The California Grill and Yachtsmen-BUT California Grill's is marinated (just perfect) and sides are limited and change each season. That being said, I have never had a bad dish there and it is ALWAYS a memorable meal!
