Who has the BEST steak dinner at WDW?

The Filet Mignon with Mushroom Rissotto at Le Cellier....probably the best meal I have ever had!!! (that with the cheese soup and pretzel bread...I didn't even have to eat dessert and it was my birthday!!!!)

For you Concourse people, the menu sounds great, but upon reading the reviews on allears, someone posted that it was visually unappealing. Is that right? I've never been to the Contem.

For our final Table Service, I'm trying to decide on Concourse, Big River Grill, or Whispering Canyon Cafe. I'm afraid we're going to be disappointed with Whispering Canyon since we're not really into the antics.

Just returned for disney in December and ate at Concourse the last night there. We were not planning to eat there but when arrived in florida found that had to change plans around and decided to eat at Concourse the last night. We were last seating of the night and did not feel rushed or neglected. the food and service was great. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfectionand as tender as it should be. The app's were great had the mozza and tomato salad with balsamic, suggested by the server and it was delicious. kids are picky and the server catered to thei needs and wants. The creme bruilee was to die for and loved watching the monorail go by. the kids like to tv area byt he bar and in fact went to watch tv while i fininshed my dessert.
I never went to the other resturants so can not comment on them. you just have to decide everyone has different tastes. i made the misktake of taking the opinions of some dis'ers and changed some of my origional plans and ended up hating the sci fi rest. Service was terrible food was awful and werre not seated till half hour past our time and not in the seats we had requested. this rest was given great reviews on this forum so just go where you think you willl like.
as D4Rest says it is not the most visually appealsing decore but clean and comfortable table are not too close together and watching the monorail is great.

Thanks for the info. It's fun to research all these restaurants and decide where to eat. I think we have veto'ed the Concourse and the Whispering Canyon. We're going to opt for a relaxing meal at Coral Reef. Have been there before, but DH hasn't. Thanks again.

Our fave is the Yahtsmans Steakhouse!!

Ours too! They used to have a filet with bleu cheese that was to die for!

My husband LOVES a really great steak, which place would you recommened for us to have a nice dinner out in the WDW resort area?

The Yatchsman Steakhouse located at the YC resort is a great choice. Jiko also has a great steak served with mac and cheese, trust me it is not your regular mac and cheese.

Yachtsman Steakhouse - great strip with peppercorn sauce
Jiko - they don't even serve their filet with a steak knife
Cal Grill - Filet came apart after barely touching it with the fork
