we have plans one night on are trip to go to one of the many lobster buffet that are in orlando and just curious on who you guys think is the best one

I've moved this thread to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board. :)

a place in Kissimee called Angel's has a lobster buffet. It's located in the Nikki Holiday Inn.

I believe you pay one price for the buffet w/o lobster and a higher price with it. I can't tell you if you get one or as much as you want of the lobster part.

Also, be careful. In Vegas we went to a place that advertised lobster and you get something called lagostino (spelling is wrong) which is in the lobster family but it's not what everyone feels is lobster.

I was actually going to tell you to stay away from Angel's. I am from MA and eat lobster fairly regularly. The lobster at Angel's is not (or wasn't when we went) the same as the N.E/Maine lobster. It went by a different name but I forget what it was. It was so gross we took one bite and that was it. If you are looking for Maine lobsters, buffets are going to be extremely expensive if they serve them.

We're from Nova Scotia and my husband is a lobster fisherman and the lobster at Angels was not good. Very low quality. When we went it was the same lobster as we catch here but it was the small ones we call canners. I would guess that they had been held in a pound a long time.
You could have as many as you want along with the crab legs (which were very salty) and the rest of the buffet. I wouldn't go again.
The only way you're going to get good quality lobster is if you pay the price which is fairly low right now, for the fisherman anyway.

I'll chime in with the rest and agree. Angel's, Boston Lobster Feast, or any other all you can eat lobster place in the greater orlando area is disgusting. Sorry to be so blunt, but they are. The lobsters are usually quite small, canners or shorties. They are overcooked to the point of being rubbery, with the meat of the claws nearly inedible.

The other items are no better. Clams are filthy (yes, as in dripping mud from the serving pan) and crab is overcooked and welded to the shell.

Again, I apologize for being so blunt, but those places only stay in business because they sucker in visitors.

We just went to Boston Lobster Feast and it wasn't bad at all. It wasn't Yummy Maine lobster by any means but they were still really good sized and pretty good tasting. (and I've had lobster in maine!) They also had all you can eat filet. It looked a little butchered cut wise but the taste was really good.
I'm all about desserts too and the dessert bar was pretty flimsy.
We enjoyed it though. Service was great too!
