I agree the Maya Grille breakfast was very good, we ate it twice since we were staying at CSR, but I had the best food at Cape May.

My family - or at least 3/4 of us - are hearty breakfast eaters. DS, particularly, would eat breakfast 3x a day if he could. The buffet is humongus and fresh. Wonderful made-to-order omelettes (grilled veggies are out of this world), the freshest fruits, yummy pastries and breakfast "staples" (grits, oatmeal, yogurt, etc) - alongside some interesting African specialties. It isn't cheap - but if you are on the dining plan, who cares? And with a breakfast like this, you can easily power through the parks until dinnertime!

We've also done Cape May and while we thoroughly enjoyed the characters (it was a "last hoorah" on departure day), I think Boma has a far superior buffet.

My favorites are Boma and I know you said not in a park but CP. Both are delish. CP has the best french toast I have ever tasted. yummy.... Both are a twice must do on every trip.

Hey - we're trying CP when we're there next week! I can't wait...I've heard nothing but good things about it. We haven't done it before because - of all the characters - we're not that INTO Pooh and the Gang. But I'm really looking forward to it this time. AND we've got an early ressie so hopefully we'll get the benne of being in the park before it opens.

My hubby and I are OBSESSED with the Kona Cafe. They have the most amazing mac nut pancakes with pineapple and of course you can't forget the tonga toast. This is a really nice place to eat also due to the fact that it seems to be one of those forgotten treasures. Most of the places we ate during Christmas time was overcrowded and so loud. The Kona Cafe was very laid back and it doesn't hurt you can eat breakfast then hop onto the monorail if your planning on going to a park.

Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club!! It is awesome and is DD16's favorite meal. We ate there twice on our last trip this past summer. It is an awesome breakfast buffet, but even has characters for an added bonus. It would be worth the money without the characters!!

The all you can eat breakfast platter at Spoodles is the best breakfast value I have found. Oh my, Spoodles coffee is to die for. Second on my list is Boma. After the note above, I am trying Kona on my next trip.

Boatwrights at POR (table service) or Yacht Club Galley (buffet. They have a la carte items too)

Love Boma for breakfast- best breakfast I've had, and I'm not just talking at WDW !!

Boma did have a wonderful and very tasty variety! I'd go back there in a second for breakfast...and that's a big deal for me because as a rule I don't do buffets.

someone mentioned Boatwrights, but forgot to say what to eat there. I love the Banana  Stuffed French toasted. OMG it is Fabulous!!!! :cloud9: Worth trekking from one resort to another for breakfast. :hippie:

Trails End Buffeteria is the best we have eaten so for and it is the lowest priced buffet style.

Concourse Steakhouse - they have the best Eggs Benedict with asparagus. But they are closing in the Spring. I think their last day in in May 08.

Another vote for Kona Cafe!!! Those macadamia nut pancakes are SOOOO yummy!!!
My second vote would go to Boma - best variety for breakfast buffet!
