What is the difference besides location? Are the rooms the same size? Is it a far walk from the wing rooms to the main building? Is it worth staying at the tower rooms? :Pinkbounc

We did and loved both. At night in the North Wing we watched the water parade from our bed. In the tower room I would wake up and look at the beautiful colors of the castle during the night. The walk from the Wings were longer, room size was the same for us, but again I love this resort so it does not matter to me where we stay. As a matter of fact, I am thinking DH Christmas gift is going to be a 2 night tie in at the end of our offsite stay at Christmas and this is where I am looking. He would be so excited. Hope this helps. :wizard:

I agree! :) There is a major differnce - a balcony. If you can get a wing room on the ground floor you're all set. Otherwise, your "balcony" is basically opening a sliding glass door to the the out side. I'd try for a junior suite, which gives you a king bed and a wet ber. It also gives you some really neat lighhtting! :)

Where do you get a quote for a junior suite? Is it bigger than a standard room?

Winnie, the rooms are the same size? We have stayed at the towers before and loved the size of the room. Never have been to the wing rooms but like the cost better.

Were either of your rooms standard or garden???

THanks a bunch! :goodvibes :flower:

Are you talking about a junior suite in the tower or the wings. We got upgraded from a wing room to junior suite in the wing. In ours there was no King Bed. We were also told it went for $900 a night. :earseek:

YIKES that price makes the tower room look reasonable! LOL :wizard:

We have been in the Junior Suite room's 2 times. These rooms are in the wings where the building "bends".. much like an elbow? They are basically one huge room.. with a wet bar, King bed and a couch, and due to there location.. they have 2 sets of sliding glass doors that open to the outside. They also have a "walk through" bathroom with 2 doors, so that you have access to the bathroom from either side of the room. There is also a seperate shower that is independant of the tub.

Hope this helps.

I just reserved this room again with the AP discount.. $250.00 + tax.

cunwdw,

For what dates. I would like to check that out. My option for May 26-May 30 is either stay at CR standard for $194 or move over to Poly standard for $283.25.

cunwdw,

What is the difference betweem the Jr. Suite and the standard view wing room.

I tried to explain that above. Much bigger.. only 1 bed (King) with a fold out couch. These rooms are "pie" shaped. Probably 50% bigger than the "normal" disney room. As far as I know.. these rooms are only located in the "Elbow's" of the wings.. directly oposite of where the laundry facilities are located. They are not easy to get at a dixcount.. We have been to the CR over 15 times and this will be the third time I got this room at a discount.

Hope this helps you.

cunwdw,

Thanks again. Since I got what I think is a nice rate $194 for a wing room at Contemporary, I will keep it.
