Who has Poly GV Concierge for Jan AP??

I just got off the phone (again - LOL) with CRO. This CM was quoting me astronomical prices for AP rate. Who has this booked? What dates? What rates?

I'm paying $266 per night, that includes tax for a GV Concierge room. The rate without tax is $239 per night. Sorry, forgot my dates 2/12 - 2/18.

Thanks - that's more like it. The last CM was still quoting me over $300 per night. I can't decide whether to go for it or not!!

At 7:30am 10/28, I was quoted $1,066.00 for AP Poly GV Conc. 1/17-1/21/03. That is tax included. Did not book because I'm hoping for general public code soon. I may regret???

seeWDW - My guess is that the code rates will be VERY similiar to the AP rates and maybe even a little higher, if it follows the historical trends. If you don't want to buy an AP for your rate, than waiting might be beneficial to you, but you may want to lock in an AP rate just so that you have one at a discount, and when codes become available, just switch your rate to that code so you won't need an AP.

adams66 - was the rate you were quoted $322 per night?? That's the rate for LV concierge, maybe the CM was just confused about which view you wanted.

I kept asking her if she was looking at GARDEN VIEW, and she said yes. But ultimately, she sounded so confused that I decided to give up and call back. Then I logged on to the boards to get more info so I can call again. I just don't know if I should do it. I know my family would love concierge but my DH might not agree with the increased price. Of course, what he doesn't know won't hurt him right?? I'll just say no Christmas presents for me thanks -- we are staying concierge in January - that's present enough. Sound convincing??

I received my AP rate of $266/night (including tax) for January 20-25.

That sure beats the $390/night I was originally paying!!!!

Well - I did it! I went for it and booked GV concierge for 16-Jan to 20-Jan. I am so excited!! It actually only turned out to be $67 more per nite for concierge. I am confident that four of us will get at least $67 per day in snacks and refreshments let alone all the other plusses!! Plus it will be my youngest DS's 6th birthday on 18-Jan. I can't wait to plan a special birthday surprise with the concierge CM's.

Doing the happy dance again!!

We'll be there at least one day at the same time. I am seriously considering adding another nite at the Poly. Right now we're booked to go to the YC for the next 5 nites but now that I switchd to the Poly, I might want to be on the monorail one more day. It is so hard to decide.

I can't believe all the DIS'rs that will be there during the week of January 19th.

I'll be there with DH, DS 9, DD6 and DD4. We've requested 1st floor.

We were their last year at this time and the weather was in the 80's everyday!!!! I hope it repeats itself this year!!!!

We're trying the Boardwalk on the 19th. My kids want to try the pool there with the rollercoaster style slide. So first the Wonder, then the Boardwalk and then off to the Poly!!!!!

Can hardly wait!!!!!

Took your advice! Booked the AP rate at 9:50pm for Poly GV Conc. I'm safe either way now - I'll just wait patiently (ha ha) for any general code to come out & switch. Otherwise, I'll have an extra ticket that we will just HAVE to come back and use....darn! What a shame....
