Who has Pal Mickey???

Can someone post what size batteries Pal Mickey likes ;) (requires)? We're going to get one during our trip in Sep and I want to be prepared in case he starts hicupping.

You will need a flat head screwdriver or a coin and it takes 3 AA batteries.

From many things I've heard of Pal Mickey, good and bad, I think it is DEFINITLEY NOT worth the money. Honestly.

My DD12 saved her own money and bought herself PM when we were there in April, she carried him on the lanyard, and loved him. Her brothers enjoyed him for a while, but were glad they didn't have to carry him! Can't wait to take Mickey back in October. We enjoyed his tips and jokes ect... and really- I would rather see them spend the money on one item like PM than bring home a bunch of cheap jumk they will end up destroying!

Thanks maxtomsmom. :earsgirl:
I'll add the batteries to my list...the neverending list. :coffee:

Does anyone have any suggestions for making him easier to carry? Last year he rubbed my neck raw! I'm overweight and clumsy, so I don't know which caused me not to get the belt clip to work.

:wave2: We love our pal Mickey and were thrilled to hear his funny stories around the park. We did not have a problem carring him because I had a scooter. ::MickeyMo

I <3 my Pal Mickey, but he gets a bit bothersome in the 99 degree weather... At home we don't use him much, but he’s a nice toy, worth the money for his cute spiels about the Spaceship Earth at EPCOT and the China pavilion. :bounce:

My dh insisted on buying last year. The two older kids fought over who got to hold it and would taunt each other with it. I had to play referree and allot a time limit for each child. It was a pain for me and I could never hear what he was saying. But the kids seemed to like it being that they each wanted to hold him so much! lol I would not have a bought but can't say I necessarily regret buying it.

We bought one at the AKL before going to the MK. At first, I was very disappointed because all he would do was vibrate and giggle. I even took him to a store that sold him and told the people he wasn't working. They said I was carrying him too low. I didn't really believe them, but moved Mickey up to my shoulder. Nothing changed. It wasn't until I got back to the hotel that I read the directions and learned that you are supposed to squeeze his hand when he giggles to hear what he has to say. After that he worked great. Even if he did tell us there was no line at Buzzlight Year when the park had closed.

I ordered Mickey almost 18 months ago from the Character Wearhouse in Orlando. He had a discounted price of about $28.00.

we have one bought in park a few years ago, 2004 i think. we love him here more at home than in the parks, however, the 2 yr old will probably love him in the spring when we go!!!!!!!!!!!
