we all got the h1n1 flu mist and it was fine...no problems and painless!

The efficacy of Flu Mist is best in children and young people. DS#4 is 22 and we are waiting for the shot. Of course we will get in line behind the pregnant women and those with chronic conditions.

I'm pregnant and had the shot today. No big deal. My arm is a little sore, as it should be after an injection.

Just a sidenote--Last week I went in for a routine check at the doc's. Nurse asked if I was getting the flu shots. I said no, she said why not? I said I have never had a flu shot and hadn't had the flu for about 30 years. I was expecting a lecture on why I should get the shot. Instead, I asked if she was getting the shot. Her reply? No, she's around sick people all the time and hasn't had the flu for years. Not saying anyone should avoid getting the shot if they want it, just a report of my experience.

my DS 2.5 had the nasal spray last week and has been fine. My oldest goes tomorrow night...same thing nasal spray.
