Our cleaning lady brought "Gunk Glass Cleaner" to clean our black counter tops as well as the black appliances. Wow, they look great. She bought it at Walmart's auto section.

Warm soapy water is the way I used to clean them but it was a pain to get all the soap off. The more I rinsed it, the more soap it made. I read on a granite company website that you could use The Works glass cleaner. I did find it at Meijers (but it's not sold everywhere). It's a gentle glass cleaner with NO AMMONIA ~ that's the key. I guess if you use ammonia on your granite, it could strip the shine. No matter what, I LOVE my granite!

I use a granite cleaner. I got it at home depot. I also use a grante polish every couple of months. That really makes those counters really shine!

This is pretty much what I do. I usually will give it a wipe down with warm soapy water while cooking or just cleaning up in general. But when Im done cleaning the kitchen, then I clean my granite counters with granite cleaner.

I clean my granite countertops with Lysol disinfectant wipes and the granite stairs with Swiffer products. Special granite cleaner is an American invention Nlobody uses that kind of stuff here.

Too much soap leaves a haze on mine, and I have to go back over it with plain water to get that off. So far I've found granite MUCH less work than the formica they replaced

I use warm soapy water to do a wipe down, and when Im deep cleaning (as I call it) I use Lysol kitchen cleaner.

I mainly use hot water with a little soap, but not much as it seems to leave a film. Our granite installers gave us a kit to clean and polish them, so we use that occasionally also. I don't find they need much care, contrary to popular belief.

I just bought this stuff. But then again, my granite countertops were installed just yesterday! I love them!

I have a huge kitchen w/ an island and even the full backsplash is black granite. It is tough. I have to wash off and and buff w/ a lint free towel. That is kind of a hassle but I love my granite.
