We have 3 nice dinners already reserved for our trip in January, but sometimes we just want to have a beer and some apps at the end of the day. Last year, we had some good food at the WL bar - nice chicken wings, cheese plate, etc.

Where else do any of you go for an informal beer and burger, some appetizers, eat at the bar kind of experience?:drinking1

Thanks a bunch.

The Lone Palm at Margaritaville at City Walk at Universal ... if you're going to universal, that is. The BEST rumrunners. Fantastic nacho's. Etc.

I agree with ESPN at the BW. I am ashamed to admit that my DH and I went Thursday night, sat around the bar and ordered nachos. It was a huge serving and we are not big eaters. I laughed and said it was big enough for 10 people... 20 minutes later we were fighting over the last chip. I don't normally eat junky food but that was really good. So good we walked over from Epcot Saturday night and inhaled the nachos again. My DH has had their wings before and says they are good too.

If you are near Downtown Disney, House of Blues might be a nice choice. Food is good and prices were not outrageous.

ESPN at BW- need I say more :)

My DH loves ESPN! We love to sit at the bar to eat. The wings are really meaty and tasty, and the drinks are soooo good, too. My DH drinks Saporo beer and they had it! I like the mixed drinks and they did a good job, didn't cheat me out of any booze. After one vodka cranberry, I was buzzing very well.:rotfl:

We enjoy going to bars for drinks and apps, some of our fav's are:

Territory Lounge (WL) BLT flatbread and nachos
Victoria Falls Lounge (AKL) bread and spreads

ESPN is on our list for out next trip in January, we are going to be there for the NFL Conference Playoffs. My husband is very excited.

Get there early and plan to wait!! On a regular Sunday the line is loooong way before the doors even open.

That said we love ESPN's food and atmosphere!
Have Fun!!
