We had a curiously mixed experience eating here on the deluxe
DDP last May.
My appetizer, the tomato and mozzarella salad, was very tasty, though I thought it could have used some bread or crostini to balance it out.
DH's minnestrone was so bland he had to use the salt & pepper. He only finished about half.
My Bianca flatbread was rich and tasty without being too greasy or overpowering.
DH's chicken parmesan was dry, bland, and tasted processed, like something you would throw in the microwave from Stouffers.
My gelato was grainy and had a weak flavor.
DH's no sugar added green apple sorbet was AMAZING!!!
Our main waiter was friendly, but slow and tended to disappear for long stretches of time.
Our assistant server ran his tail off to get us refills, napkins, anything we needed.
The atmosphere was placid but unspectacular. It didn't stand out in a good way or a bad way. It was just calm and neutral.
I would go again, but now I have a better idea of what to order (until, of course, they radically change the menu for no reason).
I wasn't too worried about the problems with the restaurant because it was only one of a billion meals we were eating that week. If you're only going to do 1 or 2 TS during your trip and want them to be special events, I would look elsewhere.
This is a middle-of-the-pack WDW restaurant.
