Who has been to disney in july?

We have been in June, July and August. There is no sugar coating it. It is HOT! However in saying that it isn't so bad that you can't deal with it.

-You will be in AC rides and stores on and off throughout the day.
-You can always go back to the room or swim to cool off.
-Have TS dinner so that you will have a hour to sit in AC, cool off & rest.
-Get FP's for Kali River Rapids in AK for lunch time to cool off.
-Take a water mister. It does help.

I think the part of the day that stands out to me is going to get on the bus around 7:30am and having sweat run down my back. But then again I consider it part of the Disney experience.

Don't worry if you have to go in July. It is manageable and you will still have a blast. Oh and as far as the afternoon rain showers - They don't last long and if you do get wet it will just cool you off. You can always buy a poncho too. No worries.

I prefer July.

I like Disney at night and the parks are open later.

We were scheduled to go to disney this April but due to a family emergency may need to postpone until July. I always said I would never go to disney in July because of the heat and humidity but now we may have no choice. How bad is the heat in July? We always do the parks early but I think it is very hot even in the early morning. Also heard there is a lot of rain especially in the afternoon. Can anyone share their experience or advice about going in July?

The heat doesn't seem bad to me, but last time we were there in July were were coming from an average high of 105 in Texas. So my perspective might be a little different. It only rained on us one day on that trip.

I'll reiterate the same things already said. Stay hydrated. Drink tons of water. It will help you handle the heat so much better. And head for the air conditioned attractions during the hottest part of the day.
