Who has been in a Mosh Pit before?

I was just wondering how many people have ever been in a mosh pit.
Last Wendesday was the first time I had ever gone in a mosh pit, IT WAS AWESOMEEEE!!!
But, I got punched in the stomach.

Here is the advice that I've gotten from my dad, my friends, and basically everyone else who's been to wild concerts....

Stay away from the Mosh Pit.

yeah..
i've only been to two concerts..
Simple Plan with Hedley in which i was in an upper bowl seat- no moshing aloud.
Rex Goudie & Melissa O'neil, um.. you don't mosh. moshing isn't screaming ten year olds screaming about how hot Rex is, when he's trying to sing about something that really means a lot to him.

& judging by the lack of concerts coming up, i shouldn't worry about moshing anytime soon.

They get really crazy.

I've been in a one person moshpit and a moshpit with my friends at a sleepover a few times. But never anything at a concert. I don't know those people.

Okay, I am 45 years old and found this post under a "new post" list. That said, I was in a Mosh Pit about 27 years ago....but we called it "slam dancing". Those WERE the days. I slam danced at CBGB's in New York City and lived to talk about it. Enjoy your youth!!!

Seriously, my friends and I have seen some seriously dangerous mosh pits. Once one of my friends was at a concert, where two mosh pits formed. The singer on stage said, "alright, I want to see these two worlds collide". Two guys from the two different mosh pits jumped up above everyone, twards each other, bashed heads together, and fell strait to the floor. You really, REALLY should steer clear from the mosh pits.

oh my god. I've never seen anythign that bad, but then again, I stay away from them unless its just me and my friends over at someone's house with some music.

The concert I went to was Hawthorne Heights/Story Of The Year/Anberlin so it wasn't that bad.
But, their were 25, 26, 27 year-olds their so I had to keep clear from their 'cause they would of just ate me alive.

Okay...

Hawthorne Heights = Wussie band in the terms of Rock N' Roll. The fact that you were, "moshing", is laughable.

Go to like, a Chevelle concert, and you might see something a little more realistic.
