I have quite a few apps on my iPhone. There are very few that are paid apps. I have the Disney Park apps (4 of them a 99 cents each), a camera zooming app (.99 as well). The only app that I have to pay a monthly fee on is actually to AT&T, for the GPS navigation ($10/Month). There are a lot of apps that are free for a lite version and you can see if you like it well enough to spend the money on the full version. For the most part, I have found that the free apps are just as good as the paid apps, with few exceptions. The camera zoom works awesome and there are no free apps that compare to it. I have found one app that makes life so much easier for me. There is an app that acts just like a checkbook register. In the current times where I don't use cash or checks, I use the app to keep track of all of my check-card purchase and keep a balanced checkbook. It is really great for me because I never remembered to write things in my checkbook register other than on bill-paying-day. There is also an option to export the file to a Microsoft Excel type document so that when you want to back-up your spending history, you can do it easily. It is so much better than using a paper register that takes up space in the desk drawer.
