... of things to take on holidays? Or knows where I can find a big one?

I want to start doing my checklist, and I need a rough guide to remind me of things I'd usually forget... :headache:

I cant recall who had the checklist but here are a few things to consider.....

Warmer clothes & Lighter clothing depending on when your going
socks & underwear & pj's
toiletries like shampoo/conditioner/makeup/deoderant/tooth brush/paste/contact case and solution/ diapers/baby wipes/formula/extra bottles/ stroller
Comfortable walking shoes
sun screen
money
camera
camera charger or extra batteries
film
ID
Travel vouchers
emergency numbers & Numbers for the hotel, restaraunt reservations, car rentals or shuttles
Care Card
Travel Insurance
back pack or something to store your goods in while in the park
credit cards
Plane tickets
park passes
light snacks to bring into the park
Hats
Pass Port
Umbrella or a rain coat that you can wear on water rides
Activities for the plane or the car ride there

I have a few links (on my other computer, which DH is hogging right now...GRRR) for some lists. I basically did a Google search for Disneyland Packing List and got a TON of lists - so many, in fact that it is going to take this anal planner at least a week to cross reference all of them...!
I will try to post the links here as soon as I can pry dh away from my laptop....perhaps the promise of a cold beer....;)

Thanks, that would be great! I'm trying to do one up, but I know I will have left a lot off!

We make Xerox copies of all of the important papers, copies of our drivers licences and credit cards and passes, just in case, they go missing.

An extension cord or power strip.
A small fan or noisemaker that will make 'white noise' to block out sounds from the hall or from the highway. This saved our week on a Disney Cruise when we had a VERY Loud group in the stateroom next to ours.

My 2c worth...

  • Don't forget small demoninations of $$$ for tips.
  • And for everyone travelling, some type of card that has your trip insurance info for medical emergencies. For DHs last few trips OS the travel insurance agents have given him a removable type sticker for his passport.
  • Emergency visa from Travelex or ANZ with say US$500 that could be left in the safe deposit for just in case. If not used, you can use it for "whatever" when you arrive home.
  • Aeroguard
  • Nothing with codine unless you have a prescription.
  • Panadol or similar that you're familiar with
  • Travel space bags for the way home when you've just purchase "too much"
  • Sanitary protection if you still requrie, including for carry on.
  • For the tea drinker, Tea Bags (sealed & declare on way through US Customs). Won't be normally supplied in hotel room.
  • Vegemite, new, if someone in your group can't live without. Again, declare in customs.

This is the one that I have used.....It is a HUGE list....3 pages long and it covers everything!
It's called the Disney Vacation Ultimate Packing List. It has separate sections of what to pack for clothing, what to pack for children, what to pack for your day bag at the park, etc.
Hope this helps.
