Since we can't search....

I remember someone stating that they had ordered a Cindy's plate to have with dinner at the castle.....

how long ago was this and who did you call?

anyone - oh where oh where is our search function....well I guess I know where....but when can we use it?

I've been looking for a search function but can't find it. Anybody can help? TIA

Search is not working at this point, from what I understand.

I called yesterday and got the podium....the girl said that they keep some of the slipper's on hand and then she transferred me to the managers office to place an order but it was a voice mail. I did leave a message for them to call me.

Any know if they do have some on hand? And she also said the price was $8.95...is she referring to something different? I asked her to describe it for me and she said a white chocolate slipper etc....

Go to the bottom of the page - Scroll all the way down.
On the right side, you'll see "Forum Jump."
Click on that and then use the scroll bar on the side to go to the top.
Click on "Search Forums."
That will take you to the search page.
Hope this helps you out!

I have not done it, but I seem to remember from previous threads that they are 8.95.

I have to say I was pretty impressed with the MK chef staff during our last stay (during hurricane Jeanne). I had pre-ordered one of the slippers for my DD (5). We had dinner PS at the castle, which happened to be the first day that the parks re-opened after the storm. Unfortuantely (and I really don't blame them) they forgot about the dessert until I asked about it. Our waiter went to the staff and came back with this fantastic dessert. In addition to the slipper, the added a crown filled with fresh berries as well as some truffles.

and she also said this:

Yes, the castle can make the dessert. I would call ahead and inquire about getting it placed on your PS. Actually, I feel kind of bad. I think I was only charged $8.95 for it (which is what they quoted me when I called). Definitely get more than your monies worth.

Great - thanks for the replies!! I am going to call back today once I find out the phone number!!! How many do you think I need...it is just me, DH and DD 2...she will only have a few bites...do you think one is plenty?

It is a VERY rich dessert. Ours had lots of white choc and white choc moose and then another choc boat with choc moose in it. Very rich. My kids actually didn't like it that much and I ate most of it.

Based on my experience, I'd only get one for the 3 of you unless you LOVE rich chocolate desserts.

I was disappointed in it because it was sooo little. I had to give them 5 days warning but they kids loved it and that is the main thing. We got two of them, one of for each of the two of them to share (4 kids). Yes we had it at the end of our breakfast!
