Am I the only person who watches Spectromagic and tears up?! I don't know why! I'm 23 and I get choked up at least three to four times while we're in WDW. Epcot and MK really get me at night. Maybe I'm just emotional. :) I'm going with my DFi for his first time this December and he's going to think I'm crazy. My Dad (Mr. Didn't-Want-to-go-to-WDW-the-first-time-because-it's-too-expensive-and-now-my-family-has-to-drag-me-out-of-the-park-everytime-we-go) gets choked up too. Maybe it's genetic :rotfl: Does anyone else get emotional at WDW and where?????

Oh there are so many places I get teary eyed. The flag retreat ceremony especially on holidays, Illuminations, Wishes, Share a dream come true parade. My daughter and I laugh about the goose bump factor at many things at WDW. It still hasn't lost its magic and I get to go quite a bit.

That darn "Wishes" always gets me teary eyed. Last time I happened to look around me and saw many an adult wiping tears away so we are not alone. :sunny:

I get teary eyed listening to the Wishes soundtrack at home!! It's even worse at WDW! I also get emotional during the show at the America Pavilion in Epcot- I think the song is Golden Dreams.

The day we have to leave WDW!

Also watching my kids enjoy the magic gets me teary.

When ever I see the happiness on my children's faces I get choked up. I was in tears the first time my daughter saw Mickey Mouse. I also cry at the end of the superbowl.LOL

The moment I see Main Street USA it starts, but during Wishes and especially during Illuminations (We Go On...) yikes - get the umbrella :umbrella:

Illuminations does it for me... every year while watching it, i get tears in my eyes.. why, i have no idea. i am 29 years old, and silly things like that get to me

Me too. That and the minute Jiminy Cricket comes over the loud speaker at MK, I love that voice. Oh, and when I'm greeted w/ "Welcome Home" at WL.

Spectromagic both home on CD and at Disney. My children are anti firework so we have stayed away from close proximity, but I think they would also make me teary eyed also.

and on the day we have to leave....

I get teary eyed when we walk in any park and we hear the music and just the atmosphere gets me. The look on my kids faces when we see the fireworks, and it's not just Disney. I get teary eyed at Universal's entry too LOL

I just love to see all my planning and stressing work out, it's like the wonderful end to months and months of hard work....the kids just love it and it makes me so happy I cry :)

HA, HA, My husband also cried at the end of the superbowl because the Eagles lost!!!! :rotfl2:

I get choked up at the fireworks too, I thought I was nuts  It's good to know there are other wierdos like me. :rotfl:

I definitely get teary eyed during Wishes!! I get teary eyed at other random times at the parks as well.

I pretty much agree with what everyone else said. Now I can tell my son that I'm NOT crazy and other people do it to.

I also always get choked up when I go to see "Walt Disney--One Mans Dream" at MGM. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. :goodvibes

Teary eyed at Wishes and at the preshow to American Adverture. (both singing groups) :sad1:

At the end of Fantasmic and when the big boat comes out with all of the characters on it. Watching my DD's expression is priceless!

I get it when we pull on property and go under the sign that welcomes you to WDW. Also when the boat with Mickey as Steamboat Willy comes out at the end of Fantasmic. There are other but they are the ones I can think of quickly.

I cry at just about anything sentimental - my DW teases me about it...

For example:

The fireworks at MVMCP - in the "snow", with explosions all around us at the Castle...

The Opening of "Festival of the Lion King"...

American Adventure/"Golden Dream" - especially when the faces of heros come across the screen...

I can't wait to do it all again soon.
