Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD--What age?

My sons, ages 5 1/2 and 7 love everything Disney. We have a majority of the Disney DVD's. I was wondering how old your children were when they appreciated Roger Rabbit and were not frightened by its contents. I have not yet purchased it. I know it is PG, I'm just curious what people have found.

My son watched it at four. He loved it! He thought it was funny.

We had rented it. Couldn't find it to buy as it is actually one of my favorite movies. I remember watching it over and over when it first came out!
Too bad there isn't alot of Roger Rabbit stuff at Disney(unless i missed it the last time)
