I love winter!

I knew you were NUTZ...But I didnt know you were certifiable!

I HATEHATEHATEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE winter. Its stoopid and serves no real purpose!


Makie is home (and will not leave her mothers side)....and I am trying to get a handle on the laundry i have to do. Havent did any since Monday 12/20!!!!!

I saw "Little Fockers" last night. I liked it. Very cute & silly. Nice to sit and just laugh

Guilty was fun, Im not sure how many scenarios there are, but Mike and I dont play the Wii very often, so it should be fine for us.

We finally did get some snow, Id say about 4-5 inches, late yesterday afternoon. boy it snowed so hard at times I couldn't see my pond from my living room window. It was dry, so pretty lite, and blew around a lot.
Today we had quite a bit of sunshine, and a bit warmer..

Well Im off to watch some TV, with Mike.

Mikes work may get in the way...BUT I have until march to cancel/reschedule so Ill leave it until we are sure whats happening...

Its my day off today, but I have food shopping to do, and some things to take back. I'm going to visit a friend on the way home and then I have to work on the newsletter. So my day off will be quite busy.

It seems to be getting warmer here, Not as warm as Id like it, but I'll take anything ABOVE 25 degrees

Betsy, it was quite a bit warmer here today too, or at least it felt like it.

The sun was shining and it wasn't windy, so that goes a lot way to giving at least the illusion of warmth

A sad day for us today.

Alex had to have one of his cats put down.

He got two cats in November and already has lost one.

The cat has been sick for quite a while and they discovered today that he had a disease that is always fatal. So they decided it was better to put him to rest instead of making him suffer more.

They had to give him medication and it really stressed him out every time.

Poor baby

I'm having dinner over my friends house. My friend Smitty & his wife are havining a catered steak dinner. They have about 20 pees in the family now. So I am going to go and mooch!

Then I will leave there by 7...get a few 2 foot heros from WAWA. My niece, her DH & Makie are coming and staying over. I also have horedevoures (however that is spelt). Tommorrow I will make a loin of Pork in sauerkraut!

2010 has been an interesting year to say the least. Parts of it good, parts of it not so good but overall I have no major complaints.

Looking forward to seeing what 2011 brings us.

We are spending the night at home. Rick will probably be snoring by 10 and I will be up alone with my computer .... just a typical night.

Tomorrow there is dinner at my mothers for her side of the family, about 15 - 20 people.

Sunday we plan on going to visit Liz and bring her some of the leftovers from tomorrows dinner. She has to work tomorrow and won't be able to come to dinner.

That's all the excitement here. Then back to the normal everyday things that life brings on Monday.

Earlier this week we had no plans at all for New Years. Since then my sister has invited us to her home tonight and dear friends of ours invited us to dinner at their house tomorrowe evening! It now looks like we will be having a very enjoyable weekend.

I wish they were at my house! I told DH that I hoped I could fool all of my facebook friends from far away into thinking that is our home! They are actually taken at the home of NSalz's sister-in-law and brother-in-law. They have the most beautiful home and offered to have the kids pictures taken there. There kids are grown. One is a senior at West Point and the other is married and lives in Colorado now. They are wonderful with teens and all the kids love them. They even had snacks set up for the kids and parents to enjoy while the pictures were being taken. I dream of having a house like that!
