Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

It was a bit warm at times, especially in the change rooms.

To make it worse, the temperatures were different in different parts of the building. Each part set on it's own thermostat I suppose.

Also, the air conditioning shuts itself down after 2 hours and needs to be restarted:sad2: So when someone would notice it was starting to get extra warm, then the air conditioning needed to be fired up again.

Our recital was at a local highschool which has a nice theater/stage set up in it.

Robin, your turn for prayers and pixie dust for Mom

PD, beautiful view!

DU, you are an awesome UncaDude!

Ann, what can I say, Holly touched my heart and deserved to be recognized.

Betsy, our busy working girl, good to see you popping thru. Miss you!

Kiminy, I am sorry I missed your send off and really hope you're enjoying your marathon trip home :)

Happy Sunday My TKers

Hello Everyone!

Ann,
Holly was a special dog and will be missed by all...Thanks for sharing her with us.

Robin,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Please keep us posted.

I think its great that you keep dancing:cool1:...I know how much you enjoy it.
You should always do the things that make you happy, these are the makings of memories that will make you smile when your old.

Andy,
Out of all the people I know who has been laid off (quite a few), I only know one person who has found another job. I hope you get that job. then Ill be able to say two!..::yes::
Enjoy Washington D.C.. I have been through many times, but never gotten a chance to visit it and see the sights.:3dglassesI will some day.:thumbsup2
Take lots of pics!

Kim,
I just know you are having a blast, and I cant wait to hear all about it!

PD,
That looks like a great place! I'm sure you'll love it!

We are going to be camping on Assateague Island national seashore in Maryland at the end Aug. with my eldest son and family. We will camp 4 nights, and I'll only have to take 2 days off. I haven't gone in years. It should be fun.

TW,
I miss you too! I miss having the time to visit more often.

I hope you are all having a good weekpixiedust:

 Robin!

I did Test Track tonight for the 1st time! Baby ride. :lmao: I wanted to go around more than Once! :rolleyes1

I like Test Track, especially the part outside of the building :thumbsup2

Another other firsts for you this time Kim?

Hi Threadkillers!

Doing a quick flyby! I went to a really great spice store with my friend yesterday and then we went to lunch. We read in the paper about a converted Waffle House that became a Turkish restaurant. The inside was like walking into AliBaba's tent - although the outside still looked like a Waffle House. The food was really good. If you like Turkish food - this is a good place to go.

I was really excited about the Baba Ganoush, but they either smoked the eggplants too much or added a touch of liquid smoke (which is my guess) so it wasn't exactly what I was hoping. The Tabouli was hands down the best I've ever had!

After that, we spent 2 hours at Barnes & Nobles looking at cook books! I bought one for tinknutt - who is really starting to cook!

Ya'll take care....gotta meet Charlene for coffee!

Greetings to all.

It's a fabulous hot summery day here today and it's supposed to stay that way.

I'm starting to feel like a celebrity :lmao:

This morning in the grocery store a lady stopped to talk to me about my dance recital last weekend.

The parcel delivery man this afternoon asked me how I liked dancing in my recital last weekend

I think it's funny. :thumbsup2

Hi Threadkillers!

Had a lovely - but quiet day. Tom and I met at McDonalds for lunch (he was at the range and I went there for reading time). We took a nap and went to one of our favorite BBQ joints for a Fathers Day dinner (rather than go Sunday and fight the crowds). After that we played cards, read and he's watching a movie while I'm on the computer.

I hope everyone else had a good day - it's been quiet around the boards. I know Robin is off this weekend...surgery date is coming up soon...you doin' okay, Robin?

Thinking of you threadkillers!

Another other firsts for you this time Kim?
I liked it too, but wanted to go around more than once. ;)

Lotsa firsts - silly and otherwise. First time at POP, first time with 'down-days', 1st time mini-golfing, 5 towel animals (so far), remembered plug for mattress :thumbsup2 , met up with a friend of KELLY's and her parents (NON-DISers, but DVCers) :rolleyes1 , bought a balloon, I went in a resort pool, ate at Garden Grill where Chip scared the bejeebies outta me , used the Disney wake-up call service, stepped on a snail (accidently) etc., so many more. 11 nights is still NOT ENOUGH! :sad1:

Stories to come: garbage can man, 'potty-potty' lady, and chicken man.

More {{HUGS}} Robin, for you and your Mom! :grouphug:

Yup, I'm doing okay Ann but thanks for asking.

It's really getting down to the wire now and yes I am petrified ( of course but then who wouldn't be) but I'm still doing okay :thumbsup2

I like picturing the places you say that you and Tom go. Now that I've been to a few of them with you :)

Hey, Kim, sounds like you are having a magical vacation full of wonderful firsts and probably also old favourites.

Now, I, myself am going on an all expenses paid little vacation next week. :lmao: Yup, someone will be making my bed, bringing me food and drinks, lots of wonderful pain dulling drugs etc......... not quite a Disney Cruise ship though:rolleyes:

Hi Everyone!

Robin - good luck tomorrow! We're pulling for you!

DU - Glad you had a good time. DC is an amazing town. I saw your facebook page, but not the face....sorry. They have a ton of ghost tours in Savannah as well - supposed to be quite a haunted town.

DP - I got your card...thank you! It means a lot...

TW - Did you see Toy Story 3 yet? Let us know! I enjoyed it very much!

Tom and I brought home Holly's ashes today. We were fine and all of a sudden, it hit us both like a ton of bricks. We're okay now, but miss our girl!

Ya'll take care and I hope everyone is having a GREAT day!
Ann
